The couple who run the guesthouse are so warm and friendly, but give you your own space too! I thought they were the perfect hosts!
Breakfast was really good, the homemade granola especially!
The room we stayed in was gorgeous, really well equipped, massive comfy bed... we will 100% recommend/return in future! Parking was great, and free. Location is exceptional for Cockermouth.

Lovely double room, amazing cooked breakfast and welcoming hosts. A fabulous base for exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District. Buses to the Lakes from the main street are about a 6 min walk away, so super easy to get around. Highly recommended!

Our second visit here and will certainly stay again. Breakfasts are fresh and delicious, really good start to the day. The room and bathroom was immaculate and very pleasantly decorated / furnished. The hosts are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.

So professional! All the details were well thought out, the breakfast with cold buffet with home-made jam and fresh fruits are wonderful. Hot dishes are so well prepared. I enjoyed thoroughly and would like to come back if I ever travel that region again from Korea!!

Undoubtedly the best place I have stayed in Cockermouth. Incredibly clean and fresh. I received a very warm welcome and the breakfast was excellent. The location and free car parking were a bonus too

Very well managed guest house, nice decorated throughout and with good facilities and super breakfast . Close to Cockermouth shops and restaurants but away from Main Street and quiet at night .
Room was a bit cramped in places and floorboards creak a bit .

Very very comfortable room. Quirky details. Husband said best bed he’s slept in. Breakfast was filling and quality products. Glenis did the cooking and listened to our preferences. Warm room and decaf teabags provided when requested. Lovely hosts.
Parking is available but husband isn’t a confident Parker so it was a little tight for him.

Lovely accommodation, located within walking distance of the town center, free car parking available. The accommodation was immaculate, the staff were attentive and the breakfast was fantastic. Would re-book here again if visiting Cockermouth.

Everything was so lovely and clean. A really nice place to stay, one of the best in Cumbria I would say.
The couple who owns and runs the place are lovely and very accommodating.
The bed was unfortunately not very comfortable as we are used to foam mattresses and the mattress in the room had springs.

There is nothing I didn’t like. Note - I could not access any of the three Wi-Fi options provided, but that may have been my fault.
