The bed was comfortable & the room was clean.

Room needed a redo. Dirt pushed into corners, Curtain was not hung properly, was stained and had worn areas..I didn't want to touch it. Chair was filthy. Beds were old

Front desk clerk was clueless and seemed quite sketchy. Had no idea how to pull up a reservation, nor willing to call a manager to resolve the issues with the online booking confirmations. Requested a roll in bed, never got it.

Location was close to friends visited

Sign on the road said econolodge not Carrollton inn Had no reservation and blamed on booking. No elevator so needed first floor room. Room assigned was not ready even at 4:45 pm. Key cards would not open door so had to walk up to office who said I must be mistaken. Didn’t open for staff either and subsequently had to replace batteries in door lock. Shower curtain was mildew stained at bottom. Rim around tub was mildewed. Would not recommend to anyone.

The building was nice plus the grounds.

Reception was appalling - the gentleman was more a robot than being an receptionist; not a people person; communication skill; had not any respect for retired military person; took over 20 minutes to sign in; answer the phone instead of saying excused me please hold (or say something on that line); added cost that made not a bit of sense - charged $100.00 for amities' - there was none; high cost for a 8 lb. - 14 year old dog - $35.00; doors had not any room numbers; as you enter the room the odor cleared your sinuses. Separate the business area (looking at the messy table in the back plus looks to be a tangle of wires in the corner) from the reception area. For example put a temporary wall - painted white with a nice frame picture. Customer would find this more appealing. Have a designated parking spot for military personal! Except for the bathroom cleaned the room and made the bed. Afterward was advised by family that the hotel was sold to a new owner - why then was not advise of this fact?

BEST LOCATION IN THE REGION! VERY NICE AND QUIET COUNTRY FEELING JUST MINUTES FROM HAMPTON, NEWPORT NEWS, SUFFOLK, CHESAPEAKE, AND PORTSMOUTH! I STAY HERE WHENEVER I WORK IN THE NEARBY CITIES BECAUSE IT'S QUIET AND THERE'S NO RIFF RAFF!

Where to start. One the rooms haven't been dusted in forever, NO COFFEE at the hotel, the sheets were nasty and had stains on them, no ice bucket, too get ice. Then when i went to check out you have to call the hotel to get someone to the front desk. We will never stay there again. It is not worth the money that we had to pay.

Bare bones amenities. I had to request for washcloths, no cups or cooler for ice. Made it very hard to take medication! Handicap room did not have hand held shower. A stool was provided but could not sit and bathe, & control rinsing from the seated position.

Loved staying at this hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet! Staff was very friendly!

Noise of others staying. was kept awake until 4 am do to party in nearby room. next day couldn’t get rest when needed due to shouting in another room. this hotel seems to get people who come to party or do other things because of the cheap rate. I’ve stayed there a few times and noticed this and likely won’t stay anymore.

the shower was still dirty, didn’t even take a shower. There was coffee and a pot but no cups and each time I went to ask for some nobody was there. couldn’t sit in the car cause it was too dirty. Had issues with the TV but someone came and fixed it, that was good.

Price

Two towels one wash cloth for four guests. No hairdryer no coffee maker. Hardly any toiletries
