The staff was so friendly. We got a free pick up from the Harbour and got a welcome drink when we arrived at the property. The poolarea and the balcony overlooks the sea which is so nice!

Stay was memorable

It was absolutely amazing,the best place we stayed in Indonesia. Staff was very nice, helpful and organised trips on the Island. Simply the best place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy an amazing holiday in Nusa Penida. The owner helped with tickets to the island and back, picked us from the harbour, stress free and with the best customer service!

The best thing about this is the location. The property is touching the sea and the view is amazing. You will get a proper sunrise.... The staff was friendly.

Room kinda felt like old and basic. A bulb was not there. Side table of bed was broken.

Property was not up to expectations. Can be made better.

The washroom was not good. No shower, no hot water and the wc was shaking and there was water leak from the washbasin and even the wc.

Lovely quite location with a spectacular beachfront view and the seating areas were lovely with plants all around. It was our little oasis in Nusa Penida.

The property exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the ocean view room & it was very large, beautiful view and clean. The staff were so kind & helpful too, and the cutest dogs!

Great hospitality from the hosts

Breakfast was adequate, not great. Location - really good restaurant/bar nearby but not much else. Site was great with waves crashing over seawall - no swimming in sea though.

Hot water in shower, cleanliness of bathroom. No ventilation so alot of mould and room smelt. Not that pleasant to be in. Outside great however.

The location , The View, The Stuff

I was impressed with other peoples reviews on how good the place was. It had ocean view & good value for room on beach front & pool . I was looking forward to this place with beach view & pool, cool breeze on the balcony. A place to relax.

My relaxation changed into anxiety of a night as I had a group of people mainly men & a couple of women from the Netherlands booked in up stairs. They sat around in the evening in a circle & was drinking & talking loud, having a party outside my room. I asked them to go down to the bar downstairs & continue their social gathering. Asked them to be considerate. They did. Next night they sat around drinking & smoking & communicating with each other again. Last night the men got really drunk & was going from room to room being like teenagers. I was in my room there a young man from Netherlands walked in while i was in bed. He was drunk & said sorry wrong room. I was glad to get out of there. The older lady cleaner & man who took me to the harbour on his bike was very friendly & was apologetic. I think staff need to have a rule to mention to 2 or more men & groups of people to go down stairs to socialize not outside & consider other guests. Cause once they drink they loose their consideration for others. Put some guest rules for tourists socializing in place. Thank you

Everything was so good. We loved to stay there. The reception boy. Was like ultimate person and alwys come with postive response and helped us alot. And views and Vibes in this property is just amazing. Thanks

The view from the balcony was spectacular, the location was good (walkable distance from a lot of restaurants), the staff was nice, the beds were comfortable and the room spacious enough. The hotel organized our ferries to/from Sanur and also taxis for our activities. The pool area was really good with a nice view and plenty enough of places to sit down.

The bathroom was very basic and small. It didn’t smell good but I think this is not the property’s fault, just thought it would be important to mention. The sink was outside on the balcony and didn’t work (only a few drops were coming out). There were a lot of ants in the room, including in the beds… The sheets/pillowcases had a lot of stains also. But the worst thing was that we saw and heard rats in our room… The hotel did offer us to switch rooms, but the other room smelled like rotten sewers, so we decided to keep our room because the rats were easier to ignore than the smell.

Most friendly staff ever!

The garden was beautiful, with a pool and plenty of shadow. The hosts were extraordinary friendly. All in all beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed one more night because we didn’t want to leave this place.

Bungalow has an AC, but it was warm at night.

We didn’t have a sink in the bathroom only on the balcony and the water pressure wasn’t great but that’s it :)

The staff at Cemara were so wonderful & helpful! They helped up to plan our daily outings & provided us with all the info we needed! I highly suggest Cemara!

Beautiful garden and view! Very nice family. They helped us with ferry tickets and picked us up from the harbour for free.

The pool was green and could not be used. the room smelled of moth balls, there were no top sheets on the beds.

we couldn’t stay even for a single night. We got a twin room and it was really bad. I got sick from the smell, the hygiene and the blanket was even without a blanket case. I am not a princess but this was unacceptable for me.

Staying in cemera is like I'm coming my hometown. Cozy and comfy with the most memoriable scenery of Mt.Agung and the ocean.

The host family is amazing,they help you with everything and communication is great. The garden,pool and ocean view and proximity is amazing.The place in general needs some refurbishment.

- Such a welcoming family and beautiful space to stay. - Justin was always very helpful and around for anything we needed. - Ask any of the staff for food or a drink and they will prepare it for you. - Stunning view and relaxation area by the pool. - Our room was bright, airy, spacious and comfortable. - Motorbike rental cheap and super powerful to get you up those hills. - Taxi service available from and to the harbour, which was helpful. - Cutest puppies and children, a wonderful family . - We wished we stayed longer!
