Nice resort but the turn off was when we got there we had found out that dreams had bought out margaritaville resort. So there was a whole transition of painting walls changing signs. It was a turn off not what we expected.

My family and I just got back from a 5 night stay and we had such a great time. The rooms were absolutely incredible, very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved that they have several pools, the resort is big but not too big. The food was pretty good. The Italian restaurant was our favorite. We’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and this is one of our top resorts. The entertainment was good and the drinks didn’t stop. The one and only complaint is that the pool area closed pretty early.. we’ll definitely be back!

This hotel is not worth the money. Very poor food options and not seasoned well. Room ac does not work well and you will sweat all night. Customer service at a lot of the restaurants are bad. Very little entertainment. Also you will most likely get sick from eating the food/drinking the water here. They do claim to use filtered water but try and get bottles if you can. The restaurants make it very hard to get bottles of water it’s almost like you are harassing them when you order anything. A lot of staff don’t want to be there. Would not return

Overall this resort is not worth the stay. It is not clean, the staff is not accommodating and the food isn’t good. The day we checked in our room had stains all over the furniture and there was sewage leaking from the ceiling from the toilet above us. It took them 2 hours to come look at it before they would move our room. We couldn’t get hot water in the shower for the majority of our stay and the resort actually lost running water everywhere for 3 hours one of the days. The pool water was white tinted so you couldn’t see your feet in 4 feet of water. Our room was only cleaned twice in the 8 days we stayed there and we had to call and ask for it to be cleaned and we could never get towels. We stayed with a large group for a wedding and we were not the only ones with these issues. A large number of us got sick while there from the food. There were too many other things that went wrong to list here and if we were there on our own instead of for vacation we would have left the 2nd day.

The staff was incredibly rude. Room wasn't ready until after 5pm. Front desk kept saying come back in an hour and it turned out that housekeeping was lying about cleaning room so that i could check in. I arrived at 1pm they didn't even start cleaning until 4. At restaurant waiter would not serve us. I had to flag down another waiter and still didn't get food for over an hour and watched 8 ppl come in after us (30 mins ) and get food before us. We ordered the same thing! I wanted to leave and get a refund but rate was non refundable

Property is nice , however you cannot swim in the sea . Lots of rocks and seaweed.
Check out horrible. One staff member working and checking in people before noon before checking people out first .

Swim up was nice to have. resort accommodated our 3 families so we had rooms next to each out. room service was super nice. swim up bar was fun, though sometimes we were ignored for the native speaking guests. they did not skimp on the alcohol in the drinks.
Housekeeping inconsistent, some days they would come, other days they did not and we had to call for extra towels. Food was okay, but we were able to find things on each menu to eat. The point system to go "shop" for alcohol and other drinks to keep in the room fridge was limiting. the points did not get us very far.
beach right by resort was rocky, but we walked a little further down to a public beach which was much better.
Overall we enjoyed it. not sure we would come back though

For such a large resort, the reception has few employees. The lines were very long and we had to wait for a long time to be attended

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was good and a lot of variety to choose from. The only two things that I can say negatively about this place is that limited supply of beach towels and not enough activities for teens. They pool activities that they did have was usually at the adult section and very rarely at the family section.

Beach was closed, unavailable during our whole stay. There was no towel available in any pool. We had to wait 3 hours to get a pool towel. Air conditioner in room was not working, the sent a technician and he was unable to fix it. They had to change us to another room after 3 hours of being there. We requested a champagne for the room and got wine instead without previous notification, and no cork screw to even open it. We also requested the round table on the Italian restaurant and got assigned to a different table. They failed to mention that we needed to pay extra. The only positive thing was the spa and the servers at the buffet restaurant. Lobby was closed at check out.

The property is nice and clean, however the beach at least at this time was terrible. There is no way to get into the water, was murky and full of algae.
The resort is nice, was quiet, not full of tourists. The food was very diverse and tasty, so many options.

Terrible ecperience, so bad service, i arrived at 5 and had problems to join my room, at 11 they changed my room and gave me one that was occupied by other guess, very unsafe experience. Finally 7 hours later of my arrival i could get a new room.

Was a new hotel but was already old and ran down. Rooms smelled wet and moldy and bathroom sinks were rusted and dirty

Although the most problematic issue was resolved prior to checking out, we were deceived at check-in. We were told our swim-up room would be facing a parking lot but they were having a sale. For an additional $75 a night, we could be moved to the same room type in the adults only section. Fine. We were there to celebrate my birthday so we upgraded. The 2nd to last day, we decided to take a look at where we would have been originally located. Come to find out, that whole building was closed for renovations. So what would they have done if we didn't say yes or couldn't afford the upgrade? This was the straw that broke the camel's back.
After speaking with management we received a refund for the upgraded room.
Now the other issues:
All of the restaurants are not opened every night (this includes the main buffet).
I straight out said we did not want to hear or be approached about any "club presentation". Of course, it still happened.
We told them we were there for a celebration. My husband emailed them a week prior as well. Others received birthday signs on their doors, small cakes and a small bottle of champagne. I received a small cake, a day late, and only after my husband complained.
We have been to another resort 3 times. Our fridge was always restocked with whatever we asked for. Not here. You get points. If you want more soda, better walk over to Joe Merchants.
I gave the hotel a very generous 3 stars ONLY because Manny at the SOS bar was so awesome. Thanks, Manny!
