Comfortable, excellent service and fantastic food.

Breakfast & food in general was good, bar drink selection was very good.

Only real criticism is that my room (3) felt very tired & whilst clean, some of the "no smoking" signs stuck on the wall made it feel like student accommodation.

Breakfast was great, cooked to order, plenty of choice. Location was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Large carpark at rear, plenty of under cover outdoor seating. Access to Grand Western Canal towpath from carpark.

Rooms at front face main road, so traffic noise, which can't be helped.

Very friendly and helpful staff, large car park, good breakfast, large room with plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom, like the bedroom was clean and had ample space.

Unfortunately we chose the time of the year which coincided with the maize harvest and the noise from the huge farm machinery transporting it to the digester facility was very intrusive. We were moved to a room at the back of the hotel for the second night, which was blissfully quiet.

Good location if after a stop to/from SW. Pleasant room with good facilities. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff. Lots of parking

The staff were excellent big car park excellentservice all round the breakfast was great they catered for my wife who is gluten free when we left the. Owner said walk to the end of the car park and up the steps and she their is the canal so we walked along the canal and plenty of wild life including a kingfisher which made our day

Lovely pub we stayed there while.going.to the mid.devon show. Hosts were very welcoming lovely food available and great breakfast
