This is the place to stay! Walking distance to marina and train station. We hired Rosa for two nights and her food was amazing. Valentino checked us in and was extremely helpful. The lemons and oranges on property were delicious. Villa accommodated 8 adults and 1 toddler and we had plenty of space. Can’t wait to return!

Very spacious, unique property walking distance from many amenities. Our group had 10 people for part of the week we spent in the property and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Valentino spoke English very well and communicated proactively in the days leading up and during our stay. We were also greeted with a snack prepared by Rosa, who we also hired to prepare two exceptional dinners for us during the week. This gated, private property with a lot of character sits amidst an orange and lemon grove. It's close to the marina and the train station in Piano di Sorrento. Sorrento, itself, is easily accessible either by train or by foot. This is a property that should be considered for larger groups looking for a comfortable house in the area.

We have been traveling with our children, and now grandchildren, for many years. Our ages for the ten of us range from 83 to 12 and this villa was perfect for all of us. It is quite sizeable with two kitchens, several gathering spaces and large bedrooms and baths. But the piece de resistance is its location near the water with a large and very peaceful garden. We knew that Sorento itself might be overcrowded, and it was, but the large garden was always a refuge at the end of a busy day. Our children walked into Sorrento from the house while my husband and I walked or took the elevator down the cliff to find a snack or a swim. Mornings we walked out the front gate and turned the corner to have coffee and a croissant along the terrace above the sea. The house is very well stocked with everything one could possibly need and more. However, just up the street is a small supermarket. Check in was easy peasy. Valentino was onsite to let us in along with Rosa, who can be your cook if you choose. She had the kitchen table laid out with wine, water and a homemade apple cake. In the fridge was more wine and water! Valentino was always nearby and is available should anything be needed--which it never was. He did arrange a boat around the bay for our children and made excellent recommendations for dinner and pastries! All in all, this was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in--Thank you Ricardo, Valentino and Rosa.

If you are looking for a beautiful house, near the water (with fantastic sunset views) then look no farther. This house is away from the crowds, there’s a grocery store right down the block and the property manager lives next door and is always there to help. We were 3 couples and had plenty of room and privacy. The front garden is magnificent and you can sit amongst the citrus trees and truly relax. Would highly recommend this property! There’s also plenty of room for a vehicle on property should you have one.

We had a group of 6 adults traveling from the US to Rome, Florence and Piano di Sorrento in the last week of September. Of all 3 rentals we stayed in Italy, this was by far the most beautiful place and experience! Beautiful home, beautiful garden, perfect location so close to the water and the train, and the villa manager, Valentino, was amazing! We stayed for 4 nights and had no problems. We were greeted by Valentino and Rosa who had prepared a cake and had an amazing bottle of wine to welcome us. We had dinner prepared for us by Rosa one evening. It was one of the best meals we had our whole trip! Valentino helped us by arranging a boat tour to Capri, gave us suggestions for restaurants and helped arrange a ride to Naples for some of us. He was very polite and checked on us everyday to make sure everything was going well. There are no words to explain how well he worked with and helped us. I would recommend this villa to everyone! 5+ stars!!

This property is exactly as advertised, but better. Beautiful courtyard/gardens, private entrance, plenty of space to spread out and relax. Valentino met us on site and showed us around the property upon arrival. He responded right away to any of our messages, and helped arrange a private driver to take us back to Naples. We were also greeted by Rosa with a delicious dessert and wine upon arrival. The night she came and cooked dinner was a special treat and very delicious. I highly recommend booking this property.

Stayed here with 6 friends over a long weekend as we had a wedding in sorrento old town. We were welcomed by Valentino who helped us check in early and arranged a taxi for us from the airport which was so helpful. The property is stunning - very traditional but with modern appliances like great air conditioning, multiple fridges and a dishwasher. We were greeted on arrival with a delicious cake cooked for us and we arranged for the same lady to cook us a wonderful dinner on our last night in the house. Really stunning property in a great location - highly recommend!!

We LOVED this house. The house is beautiful and spacious and had plenty of room for our group of 11 people. There are two kitchens, and each bedroom has its own thermostat that kept us cool in the July heat. The backyard was a surprise - we were amazed at the beautiful lemon and orange trees growing there. The house is across the street from a cliff overlooking the bay we could walk to several times. Getting to the Sorrento city center only took 10 minutes and we always found easy parking. The property was able to fit our 3 cars behind a locked gate to keep them safe. The check-in process was very smooth and the team accommodated our travel delays. Ricardo, Valentino, Martina and Rosa made us feel welcome (including baking a welcome cake!). Valentino frequently checked in with us to ensure we were comfortable. We decided to do the home-cooked meal at the house and are SO glad we did. Rosa made an incredible multi-course dinner in the house, complete with homemade limoncello. We all agreed that the dinner was one of the best meals we had in Italy. This was the best place we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Italy and we would happily recommend it to others.

The beautiful villa accommodated 10 adults easily. Our favourite place was the spacious terrace in the front yard surrounded by the beautiful lemon and orange trees. The town is a very short stroll away and has everything we needed for our stay. If you want a bigger town you can even walk to Sorrento (about 35-40 minutes). We didn’t have a car and didn’t need one. Steps from the front gate is the elevator to the sandy beach. Coordinating with Riccardo was very easy and Valentino was helpful throughout the week. Wonderful people! We arranged a home cooked meal from Rosa and it was so amazing that we arranged a second one for our last evening. Five stars for Rosa! If you are looking for a comfortable, spacious and conveniently located villa this is it!

Exceeded all expectations. A charming villa set in a tranquil neighborhood walking distance to the train station. From the moment you enter through the gates into the private garden of orange and lemon trees, you are instantly relaxed. The large and historic villa was able to accommodate our family of twelve including small children with ease. One of the highlights of our stay was having Rosa, a private chef, prepare two traditional Italian dinners at the villa. The owner Ricardo and property manager Valentino were accommodating and responsive to all of inquiries and needs. The Wiggins/Amackers sincerely appreciate Ricardo, Valentino, and Rosa for the cherished memories made.

This property was perfect for our family of 13 ranging from ages 6 to 76! The gardens are beautiful and the house is very clean and comfortable. Rooms were good sized with ample bathrooms and a big table for us all to sit together. The location is ideal - easy walk to the harbor (boats to Capri and relaxing beach), the supermercado and the train station. It was so nice to return ‘home’ from the hustle and bustle of sightseeing to this beautiful and quiet property. We fell in love with Piano di Sorrento! Riccardo was very helpful with the booking and Valentino was a wonderful host, showing us around and answering all of our questions. We hated to leave this little slice of heaven and will definitely be back!

Our group of 13 (6 adults and 7 children ranging in age from 7-13) stayed at this gem of a property for 5 nights. It was one of those rare experiences where the property was even better than the pictures! We had so much room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The gardens are huge with orange and lemon trees bursting with fruit. The downstairs portion of the home is a renovated horse stable with charming intact details. There is a large kitchen, two eating areas, and three separate & spacious living rooms. The upstairs portion of the house has the second kitchen, dining area, living area, five large bedrooms, and four bathrooms. We all slept very well in the large and comfortable beds. The bedrooms are decorated with wonderful antique furniture, and the bathrooms were large and renovated. We had lovely views of Sorrento from the upstairs window as well! For two of the nights, we had the chef cook dinner for our group. Her name is Rosa and she is absolutely wonderful. She accommodated the children’s allergies, and had vegetarian and meat options for our group of mixed eaters. Her gnocchi, zucchini pasta, seafood spaghetti, and tiramisu was some of the best food we had in Italy. Valentino, the property manager was in contact with us everyday and worked to arrange all of our special outings, including transport to Naples and a chartered boat to Capri. He was so wonderful and answered every question we had immediately. Don’t hesitate to book this amazing property!

We are a three generation family of 5 adults and two children. The Villa was perfect for us to be together and yet everyone still had their own space. Our host, Valentino, greeted us warmly and was always available by text to help out in any way. And Rosa, on our request, prepared an amazing dinner at home one night. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity! She is delightful! The Villa itself is incredible as it is spacious and elegant, spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen and crisp white linens on every bed. The location is perfect as well. The center of Sorrento is a 25-30 minute walk and after a day of its hustle and bustle, you will be happy to return to the peaceful Villa. Since we arrived in two cars, secure parking on the grounds was a bonus. Except for a drive on the Amalfi coast, we never had to use them during our stay. As a group we have probably 60 years of international travel experience, and it's safe to say we agree this stay was one of the very best we've had anywhere! The property itself is updated so beautifully, down to thermostats in every room & antiques throughout. The customer service provided by our host/managers was beyond excellent. They arranged anything we asked for and were always checking in (unobtrusively!) On our needs. I cannot wait to come to Piano di Sorrento again and stay here!
