The location was excellent for access to the town and walks. The property was in a quiet location. It was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and cosy.

We loved our short stay in Maisie's Cottage but if I had to be picky with a negative the water pressure was low when using the hand held shower or filling the bath.

The cottage was lovely and cosy in a good location just a few minutes walk into wirksworth. We had a walk into matlock one day which took approx 2 hours strolling. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds along with good quality cotton bedding. The owners have thought of everthing. The kitchen was very well equipped even had cake tins for baking! We thought the cottage was value for money and we would love to return.

The only thing i missed was a shower. There is a bath with a shower head on the mixer tap, but its not quite the same as having a shower ( this is just personal preference).

Very cosy and clean with everything you could need for a good stay. Excellent location.
