Adriano is a very helpful host and the apartment is located better that you can expect. In Front the breathtaking view includes sunset and Vulcano. In the backside 10 feed from the door the first of hundreds restaurants in Tropea. Way down to beaches ist about 10 minutes but there is always something to watch. The balcony is very big and you might ask yourself we to go to the beach if you can see everything even better form the balcony. An unforgettable stay at Tropea!

I know all reviews say this, but honestly, the views are breathtaking; we spent many an evening having aperitivo on the balcony watching the sunsets. The view from the master bedroom is beautiful, straight across to the church. The apartment is neaty hidden in the midst/centre of Tropea; close to everything and yet away. Adriano is so communicative and ready to help on everything and anything. He sorted the pick up from the airport, the access for our hire car (be careful to get a smaller/narrow one to fit through the narrow streets) and was helpful on places to go. Tropea was very busy at the time we went, as the main Italian holiday time and so beaches and towns more busy than usual. Also, be aware at this time (and probably on then) it can be more noisy. You wake and have apertivo with the tranquil sounds from the local church; dont be put off if you are not religious! All in all totally fantastic place to stay and thoroughly recommend. (ps my wife is Italian and her relatives visited one evening and confirmed also the value for money)

The apartment was perfect for us, a family with children aged 18,16 and 9. It has everything you need and we had many meals on the terrace. The view is stunning, and you can see all the way to Stromboli. Magical Sunsets. The location is to die for, you have everything like shops and restaurants at your doorstep. The 196 steps to and from the beach are the only downside but you get tour daily exercise... Adriano is avery good host, always happy to help. He lives in the same house but you still feel very private. We stayed in the apartment for two weeks in july when it was very hot outside. The apartment has no aircondition but the two bedrooms had a fan each with helped a lot. We also went on a daycruise with Adriano’s boat and it was fantastic, well worth the 500EUR. Best day we had in our two weeks! We had a car and could park it by the house but it costs 10 EUR to bring the car in to the old parts of Tropea so Adriano showed us where we could park on the outside for free. We went to many different beaches and on a tour to Stromboli with was very exciting. If we go back to Tropea we would absolutely stay in this apartment again and would highly recommend it.

The apartment had great views and was steps away from all the action. The apartment had everything we needed. Adriano was very helpful and always quick to respond. We will highly recommend this apartment and would definitely go back! Thank you Adriano for everything!

If you’re looking for the perfect location and the perfect view of Tropea then this is the place for you. A home from home, well equipped and with a touch of luxury. Spend evenings watching the sun set from your terrace. Heaven. Lovely owners who are on hand to help if needed and can also give tips of the great restaurants in town.

Adriano is a helpful and gracious host, full of good information about Tropea. The apartment has gorgeous views overlooking Tropea's icon, the Santa Maria dell'Isola church and the sea. The main bedroom has the same gorgeous views as the living/dining room. If you are traveling by car, there is secured parking at the property. The location is unbeatable within a 3-minute walk to the main street, Piazza Canone, and shops and restaurants. Tropea can be chilly outside of summer. Bring your warm socks for walking on the tile floors of the apartment. Adriano gave us a heater to warm up the place because it was quite cold in late-April. He is always on hand to help out and answer any questions. We were happy we chose his apartment.

The apartment location is stunning. It is large, bright and airy. At night you can lie in bed listening to the waves crashing on the beach below. The room sizes were good for 2 adults and 2 grown up children. The balcony was amazing. Tropea is also beautiful, perched on the cliff above the sea. It is full of good bars and restaurants. They offer similar menus, but Ambrosia on via Guiseppe Garibaldi was one of the best we found. Isola Bella is a good bar just on the beach below the balcony and a great place for a sundowner. The off-street parking was useful, but we rarely used the car whilst we were there, because everything is in walking distance. Adriano's boat was out of action whilst we were there, so we did the full-day boat trip to Vulcano, Lipardi and Stromboli. It was really good but be aware that it is a long day at sea and was pretty rough when we went. We also drove down to Scilla, which was another lovely town with a historic castle overlooking the Straits of Messina. It's also worth walking down the narrow lanes in the Chiananlea district next to the sea.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Tropea, a busy little town on a cliff with great views and fantastic beaches. The apartment is spacious, clean and has great views of the beach. It has easy access to the town for restaurant and bars. Adriano the host is really helpful with parking the car, luggage & local information, you could not ask for more ! Tropea has windy cobbled streets and its great to wander through at night, although the centre can get extremely busy, but then just try the side streets or a little further outside the town. We discovered a great BBQ place & craft beer place about 10 mins walk from the apartment.

A lovely apartment situated inside old town in Tropea, with 2 min walk to everything. The ap provides everything you need. It’s spacious and provides the best in view of the famous Santa Maria dell’Isola, and a fantastic view of the turcous Kalabrien water. The terras is huge and lots of place for dinners watching the sunset, some days you can even see the active vulcano Stromboli. You have quick access to the beach using the stairs. The owner Adriano, who lives in the property is the best landlord you can have. Very helpful and always doing his best to give you all the information you need of restaurants and other things you need to know about Tropea. Adriano even has a luxury boat you can hire with him as a captain and he will take you to capo di Vaticano to snorkel in the cleanest water of Italy, or a day trip to Stromboli (extra charge) recommended!! We will for shure come back to this apartment!!!
