The location and proximity to the beach was good. The apartment had plenty of space, was clean and comfortable.

6 adults were staying with only 4 mugs/cups (one of which was chipped)available so 2 people had to drink tea/coffee out of glasses. This was not rectified during our stay despite a phone call and and an email to request this. The vehicle entrance to the property was a bit narrow for larger vehicles and the parking space was obstructed by builders vans involved in refurbishing the ground floor apartment (this parking issue should be resolved for the next guests as we understand from the workmen that the job was due to be completed on the day we left.)

The location

No information about the flat, the hoover was in a cupboard next door and the door was numbered 27b and upstairs, who could have known? En suite toilet was faulty. We were without it overnight. Lounge seating was very poor. One uncomfortable corner unit, two Ikea Ponang chairs and a tatty conservatory chair. Both tables were wonky. Carpets were dirty in some rooms. No drying facility for clothes. There was a washing machine but no tumble dryer, not even a clothes airer. This made life very difficult in an upstairs flat. We ended up buying an airer at a cost of £15. Instead of having a bath towel and a hand towel for each person, we were given a bath towel pp and a hand towel per bathroom. Given the fact that there was no drying facility, you can imagine!! In the kitchen there was just one oven tray which was rusted and disgusting. Access to the garden was dilapidated and the garden was difficult to access.

Ideal location for access to beach On bus route to Bournemouth, Boscome, Westbourne, Sandbanks, and Swanage. The Sky TV package included an entertainment package, selected movies on demand, and Sky sport and these programs could be recorded to view later. The Wi-Fi worked very well, without any down-time. Cooking facilities were excellent. Recently refurbished with good quality carpets throughout.

The television programs were obtained from Sky, but the trouble was it was not straightforward to get to the required channel, as you needed to juggle between two separate controllers. Catch-up was not available, and neither was Freeview as there was no aerial connection. The lighting was too dim in the main living room. Bedroom chairs and a nest of tables in the living room would have been useful. The tables were very wobilly both in the kitchen and the main room.
