De beoordeling zou een hogere score hebben gehad als het toilet/badkamer niet in open verbinding met de slaapkamer zou staan (afscherming met schuifdeuren met lamellen). Het zwembad is erg klein en tussen de gebouwen ingeklemd.

The cancellation policy is a turn off. I booked through a booking agency as they had better provision in the event that cancellation was necessary - but it cost more. The extra price would make me look at whether I return.

I first stayed at the hotel about 10 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel and facilities has not aged and is well maintained. Staff is as wonderful as before. Made the whole stay even more memorable. They noticed my mother has mobility issues and were kind, helpful and thoughtful throughout. The staff played a very important part in making the stay a wonderful one.

awesome hotel, love the design of the hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. We request for baby bathtub and baby cot, and they provide with no hassle. room was beautiful, the location was great, the bed was big and spacious, the bed was super comfy and the pillows thickness was just nice. definitely will come back again.

no room service, as we reach de hotel was very late but there's no room service provided as confirmed with reception so end up we sleep in hunger as we cant go out with baby at night. kind of disappointed. Swimming pool was small but i think due to the limitations of space, no kids pool either. spa need to call 1 day in advance for booking, so end up did not try on their spa.

The bed are soft and fluffy , can change the hardness of pillow , the swimming pool are comfortable too

Need a lot of improvement, only the classic breakfast set is good

Noisy neighbour. Sound insulation needs to be improved especially on the piping. Neighbouring room was taking shower at 12am and the sound was so loud.

Always our go-to hotel. Everything was lovely as usual, from the front desk to the room. Parking area is safe. Lovely staff helped us take our Raya photo in the library room.

There was no breakfast buffet during our stay.

just a couple of glitches but nothing really to gripe about: I would have preferred it if we had been advised pool was closed before we arrived. No international TV channels which meant we couldn’t watch Malaysian Michelle Yeoh win her Oscar. Room keys didnt work almost every time we left the hotel

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the old centre. Clean, very comfortable rooms & bed. Staff especially Annie was wonderful in attending to our needs.

Could not use the pool due to maintenance work and the set breakfast was a little limited.

I go there for many years , happy to be back , the old feel in a vintage property is always nice

the standard however drop ( probably due to post pandemic). iconic gin not available , at the breakfast, no more buffet but eat all you can à la carte .. staff uniform dirty, table clothes on several tables dirty, quality of the food just average . I was given a connecting room, when the occupancy was low , I had to get it change , not the right thing to do, spa closed at 7 , I think it’s too early . it’s best to open later and close later as guests may just check in or simply come back from a day of work, or sight seeing. all this can be easily fix , I am confident it will

The pool - small and in the shade with very few loungers. Didn't see anybody using it when we were there

The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom. All the basic amenities were intact. Breakfast was great as they had a good selection of both local & western breakfast. Food was yummy too! Location was great as it is only 900 metres to Jonkers Walk. The spa was nice & relaxing. Pool was also great.

The hotel is nice but not very well maintained. The tap to the shower was loose therefore it was difficult to turn from rain shower to a normal shower & vice versa. The normal shower head was also leaking. Bath tub was scratched & not cleaned properly. There were pubic hair in there which did not belong to us. We had 3 rooms & one of the room door handle was loose & we thought it was going to fall off.
