This is the last of our 7 R&B rentals for our Tour de France trip. The only rental has AC. Owner is extremely friendly and very much he just re-touch the property. Despite the outside online look from Abritel, the Apartment has lots more than what we expected. Highly recommended for English speaking foreign tourists.

My two sisters and I spent five days at this great apartment in Colmar and we loved it. It is immaculately clean, very spacious, nicely updated and with an abundance of charm. The location is very central and you can easily walk most of the town from there. The owner was very nice and left us a bottle of wine from their winery which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated after a long day of travel. We highly recommend this home and feel very fortunate to have found it.

It is in the perfect location and is great for English speaking traveler’s.

Great location and very comfortable accommodations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is quite spacious and comfortable, but the real treat of this pleasant place is its location. It just could not be better - just off the main shopping street and close to everything beautiful about Colmar. Note that the stairs are a bit tricky - but we were four "seasoned" adults aged upper 60s-mid 70s and did just fine. The Alsace is a magical place - and this is a great apartment from which to take it all in!

This property is close to the city center and a wine tasting room on the premises…if you enjoy great wine this is the perfect location. The best review I could give would be that we would absolutely stay here again.

Location was great. Close to restaurants and a short walk to Little Venice. Parking is an extra $10 for 2 days and located underground 2 blocks away. Wooden steps leading up to apartment are old and worn making them a little challenging.

Absolutely wonderful. The flat was huge, clean, well appointed and well located. The host family was delightful and very welcoming. Make sure you pick up a few bottles of delicious but inexpensive wine at the family shop. Colmar and surrounding towns are lovely and quaint , with a number of very nice restaurants and shops. All around a 5+ Star experience.

This is a great apartment in the middle of the charming center of Colmar. It is clean, quiet, well equipped, and centrally located. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it is very convenient for families or groups of friends. Shops, bakeries, markets are all within short walking distance. We loved being able to walk out the door and just wander the beautiful pedestrian area in the town center. ...and you can buy wine just downstairs, since the place is in an active winery! Highly recommended!

Stayed here for 3 nights in between stops at Munich & Paris, and everyone agrees that this was our favorite spot. The hosts were so hospitable that they even dropped us off at the train station when we were leaving because we were having trouble getting a cab! The location is ideal, the apartment is beautiful & clean. Couldn't have asked for anything more!!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! It is a comfortable, roomy space and we loved the balcony. Located on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood, yet very near the shopping area with restaurants. We had a car rental, easy to drive and park near the apartment. Ran the Colmar marathon during our stay, just a 10 minute walk to the start/finish line (super marathon, beautiful race route). We shall stay here again if travels brings us to Colmar.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Virtually right in the middle of Colmar city. We have spent twelve fabulous days here. From the time of arrival our hostess has been extremely helpful and onsite if needed. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious having everything you need. Our hostess ensures that when you arrive there are sufficient supplies of basic needs to keep you going until you have time to purchase some for yourself. The apartment was spotless and it is incredibly quiet even though you are only metres from one of the main streets. During our stay we had a wonderful wine tasting and were also lucky enough to see some harvested grapes arrive at the winery to be pressed just outside our window. We read one review before we arrived which mentioned that during the harvest it was a little noisy. Nothing could be further from the truth. We barely heard a sound from the workers below and in fact it was a highlight to see this taking place. As already mentioned, this apartment is so beautifully located. Each morning it was just a short walk to a wonderful patisserie for fresh croissants, bread and escargot. Later we would either visit the great shops in Colmar or simply stroll around it’s beautiful streets. From here we were able to drive to many other beautiful villages surrounding Colmar. We couldn’t rate this stay and this apartment any higher, just splendid.

My family of four just returned from our lovely stay. The home was more than I expected with plenty of space for all of us. The beds were comfortable and there was air conditioning that worked very well, each main room being independent of the next so each of us could sleep at different temperatures! The location could not have been better, both in relation to the general area as well as in town. We were barely a block from the main old town street with a nice patisserie around the corner. Nathalie is very sweet, I’m just sorry time went by so quickly!

Lovely apartment in the heart of Colmar, well equipped and ideal for touring the Alsace region. Close to restaurants in the evening. Welcoming hosts and lovely wine from the Karcher vineyards. Highly recommended.

This was my first time in an apartment in lieu of a hotel stay. It was much appreciated by our family to be able to spread out. The Karchers have everything needed for a charming stay (except for clothes-washing). The Auchan supermarket is a two-minute walk away so that is very handy for a family or large group. There are several bakery options within 1 to 5 minutes walk. Also several restaurants. Fanny works in the office of the winery downstairs and is a big help with information. No major streets nearby so you do sleep well. The major pedestrian street is 1 minute away so you are right in the middle of things. The remnants of the old city walls/fortifications from 500 years ago are just 30 meters north of the property. You won't regret staying here.

Though at times the noise from the winery kept us awake, it was far outweighed by the opportunity to watch the grapes come in and be raked into the conveyor and into the press!!! Out 'Gite' was very clean and the location was unbeatable! It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer also. We highly recommend the hospitality of Natalie Karsher and her lovely Guest House ! I do understand that we were here during harvest which accounted for the noise, but again, I would not trade it!! Also, their wine is Excellent.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful. A simply market was a 2 minute walk, the laundry in the basement, and the kind hosts made for an easy, fun stay in Colmar.
