This was the best air b and b we’ve stayed at. Very peaceful. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to an emergency at home but would love to come back and enjoy it in it’s entirety

I rented this Lake house for a week vacation with my two teenage children. The house was listed with AC, a Murphy Bed in the living room, and two queen size beds. It sleeps 6. Upon arrival the house was very clean, but there was no garbage bag for the kitchen garbage. I messaged the host and was told the house is typically not stocked with those items unless it’s leftovers from the last rental. There was a clean load of bedding and towels left inside the dryer too. There was also no Murphy Bed in the living. (Air mattress in a closet) It was 90 degrees for two days. We slept in the living room where the one AC unit is located for the entire home. I decided to contact the host and ask for a refund for Thursday-Sunday. The AC unit is meant for a 300 square foot area. It did not have the capacity to cool the bedrooms. She told me we cannot refund you due to policy. We left extra fans. She also said she would bring up additional units. This did not happen. I called VRBO on Wednesday evening and was told I have two choices- stay and get partial refund or VRBO would move us to a new property and pay the difference. I was told to submit photographs and I would get a call back in the morning. Never happened. Did get one night at the hotel but I still paid for the house. Host was supposed to move the unit to the kitchen for us to stay. Instead she messaged me with a courtesy check out and would refund me a percentage for the 3 days. No refund has posted yet.

Myself and my friends come up every year for the Fuel n Food weekend long ice fishing tournament and this was our first year in this house. It was exactly as described and spacious enough for the 5 of us. I wouldn’t go any more than that but it was perfect for our group. Very clean and communication couldn’t have been simpler. I highly recommend and will stay here again if the opportunity arises!

We enjoyed our stay in Mayfield at the lakehouse. It was comfortable and supplied with all necessities for a week’s vacation. Christina was quick to respond to our questions and always happy to help. Being right across from the access to the lake with kayaks and paddle boats was great as well. Thanks for a happy and memorable stay!

We loved everything about our stay. It was perfect for our family of 4. And the host extremely accommodating. We will be back.

We used this location while visiting family and it was a good stay. The lake is a lot closer than it appears in pictures, but still distant enough to not be bothered by others. The home had everything needed for an extended stay.
