Location, vintage charm.

The security gates weren’t working. The room needs new flooring. A little update. There was a domestic issue and police was called in. Made things a little uncomfortable.

I couldnt even stay at this place !

The room looked nothing like the photos , there are no elevators and only very long stairs , so if you have luggage goodluck. The room acess is a key ! Not convenient at all . I had a surgery in my leg and was not aware that they dont have elevators . When ai explained my situation to them they refused to refund my booking and I had to pay for nothing ! Had to book another hotel .

The location is all this place has going for it. The price is scam. The carpet was wet and stained and disgusting. The whole room was moist and my bed sheets were moist. I have stayed in nicer places for half the price. I expected more for the price. This is not a boutique hotel. It’s a motel 6 someone renamed but didn’t do anything to upgrade since the 70s.

The only things I liked about the property was the location and the pool area.

I didn’t enjoy my room at all. When we went into the room the air felt very moist and weird. After we had already bought groceries to put in the fridge, we realized the fridge wasn’t working. Our tv wasn’t working, we tried using the phone in the room to call the front desk and let them know, but we realized the phone wasn’t even working …. so my friend ended up using her personal phone to call the front desk. I even messaged the hotel on booking.com’s chat to tell them the issues we were having. There was also a large crack in our window, our shower drain wouldn’t drain correctly and there was a weird hole in the shower. When checking out the lady at the front desk (Tamara) asked if I had enjoyed my stay and I was very honest and told her no and let her know the reasoning on why the stay wasn’t enjoyable. She didn’t help at all, instead she was giving me attitude and disregarding the whole situation. When I asked her to print out my receipt, she had attitude and didn’t want to do it because booking.com already emailed me my receipt and since I payed through booking.com and not through the hotel itself, she didn’t want to print it.

The location

Everything at this hotel is falling apart. From the old air conditioner to the door locks and room furniture. The amenities outside are in a very bad shape, from the plant planters cracking and crumbling right before your eyes, to the pool gate being on the last threat from falling over. The carpet in the rooms is so disgusting that it’s scary to step a bare foot on it. There is nowhere at all to dry wet clothes/bathing suits from the beach. We had trash pile up in the room and no one came to clean it for 2 days. We had to take our trash out ourselves. The beds are uncomfortable and the blankets are even more uncomfortable (all bunched up together in the duvet). I could not have a full night of sleep within 4 nights of stay, that’s how uncomfortable the bed was. Would not stay here again. I would rather pay more for a more comfortable stay. For what this hotel charges, they should invest money in some renovations
