1st time in Bradenton and we loved it. Traffic is heavy during the day, but once there did not need a car. Unit is very pretty, updated, clean and well stocked. Loved the enclosed porch for coffee and breakfast. Minutes to beach and short walk to Bridge St.with shops and lots of restaurants. Also, short walk to 24 hr Kroger for groceries. The grounds of this VRBO are lovely. Well lit, beautifully manicured grounds, grills, tables and chairs. Perfect getaway and would return.

This place was great! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The courtyard was beautiful. Our hosts were awesome! We were steps from the beach, Bridge Street, and the free trolley to enjoy anything else on the island.

Great location to the beach and Bridge Street. During our stay it was in the 40's and 50's and windy. The unit was warm and cozy and the king size bed was comfortable! The owner was very accommodating letting us have a later check out time.

Our stay was amazing!! We loved the little getaway on the island that was within walking distance to most everything....the beach, the cute historic downtown, restaurants and shopping. The unit was well-stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and even provided beach towels and beach chairs!! We would totally stay again!! Thank you!

We had an amazing time and loved this property! Chris was a pleasure to work with and the property is beautiful and well maintained. It is in an ideal location to several beaches, a pier for fishing and relaxation, and Bridge Street with all it's restaurants, shops and fishing pier. We would definitely rent again!

Very nice unit by the beach! Very comfortable and has everything you’ll need for your beach break! Comfy beds, cold AC, and excellent parking… Unit was clean and ready when we arrived. Chris (host) was very pleasant and willing to accommodate a special request we had during our stay. Looking forward to staying here again…

If you choose to stay at this property, you will not be disappointed!!! Super clean! As described in the listing, no surprises. Located perfectly between the beach and inter waterway. Idle vacation spot, for two or a family. Again, the cleanest place we have been too!

So close to the beach and convenient beach chairs and beach towels. Clean and clean cool. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely rent again.

It was a smooth and easy process.

The A/C in the sun room smelled like fish if you put it on. Called the rental agent & never called back. I found out a few days later that the property was sold to someone else. Although the unit was pretty, kitchen updated, there was not one comfortable place to sit. Location was perfect, steps to the free trolley & beach. They had nice beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels & anything else you would need for the beach. Best of everything to the new owner.

Everything was just as listed. The shower is tiny and I'm very glad we brought our own toilet paper and paper towels but other than that everything was good.

We took a week long extended family vacation and stayed in multiple of Chris's properties. It was a perfect setup so everyone could have their own unit but were able to hang out in the courtyard. We are already talking about when we can come back!

We enjoyed our first stay in Bradenton Beach! Condo was as stated in online listing. The extra amenities provided (beach cart, chairs, umbrella, beach towels!) were much appreciated! Courtyard area is beautiful and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the area.

We’re very pleased with our stay. The unit was very clean, well stocked with linens and utensils and the grounds are well maintained and quiet. The only thing we would do differently next time is get a downstairs unit, but great place to vacation! Thanks

Perfect location and space for a getaway!

First time to the island and loved the location of this property. Walking distance to the beach and local restaurants and shops. Perfect size for two people. Nice and quiet Beautiful garden. Having beach chairs and umbrellas were great addition since we didn’t have any

This was the perfect location to enjoy a beach getaway. literally just across the street from the gulf and the white sandy beach but also just few blocks from the intercoastal waterways (where we caught a shark!). Off the main road far enough to be quiet but an easy walk to the Bridge Street entertainment district. All the Sun, sand, beach and fishing gear we needed. Didn’t have to buy or rent a thing. We will DEFINITELY rent here again!!

We really enjoyed this VRBO. You couldn't beat the location with the beach on one side and the bay on the other - just perfect. It was also easy walking distance to so many restaurants shops and other beaches. It was very comfortable and cozy with the perfect place to watch Sports or a Movie, a good kitchen, and dining area too. The bedroom was nice, we bring our own pillows and was glad we did. My only comment is only being provided one roll of toilet paper and one dishwashing tablet. For how much you pay you'd think you wouldn't have to go by in the convenience store at high prices, so come prepared with paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets.. Otherwise it was perfect and very friendly and communicative host too!

We were invited to a dear friends birthday celebration on AMI and never having been there were very excited to visit. We were very happy to find this Cute bungalow and found it to be perfect for suiting our needs. The location is by far the best part about it. You can walk less than a minutes walk to the east in the AM to quietly catch the sun rising over the bay. We had some unusual weather during our stay so I only did this once. During our high wind/tornado watch morning I really enjoyed sipping my coffee while curled up on the couch in the adorable sunroom and watched all the garden greenery/palms outside the windows just thrashing in the powerful winds. The winds were so high that the gulf seemed more like the open Atlantic. This was just a 2 minute walk to the west. Many locals were taking pics as they found this to be so unusual for this body of water. It was powerful to watch the waves and feel the force of the wind. No concerns about parking here today, but on a nice day, the spots filled quickly. No worries for us because we could walk. There were rolling carts to use if needed and they were large enough to put all your beach items in them. There were even 6 beach towels provided. I had wished I hadnt packed 3 of my own. The kitchen was unbelievably well equipped and had we done any cooking , we could have served up a meal for 6. I love fireplaces, and was suprised that we actually needed to use it, when the weather dipped to a chilly 42 one AM. The heater/blower took the edge off the chill in the room very quickly. The King size bed was not overly comfortable, but that may be just me being fussy. My husband said it was fine. We loved that it was a King. It didnt leave room for a dresser in the bedroom, but there was one with nice drawers in the sunroom and this worked perfectly for all of our clothing. We felt right at home during our stay and when we needed communication with the owner he was very quick to respond. We would definitely return if we are ever fortunate enough to be back on beatiful AMI.

We really enjoyed this property. The location was perfect! It was a very short walk to the beach, the walking trail and several very good restaurants. We will definitely rent it again!

This little gem was perfect. Quiet, private and cozy. Newly updated yet very charming and comfortable! We also felt very safe here, and could walk everywhere we needed to go. The beach, shopping and restaurants!

Check in was very easy and location was perfect.

We were in Unit #5, it is exactly as pictured. It was decorated so cute, it was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. While we were there the Florida weather went from high 70 degrees to low 50 degrees so we used the adorable electric heater/fireplace, it worked flawlessly, I was ready to sleep in front of it. Internet worked great the whole time we were there. We are not TV watchers so they were never turned on while we were there. The pictures do not do the Island Getaway justice, it is like walking into a tropical paradise with almost everything you would need provided for you. Read throughly the information provided by Mark at pre-check in. There is a lot of info to take in and almost everything is provided. Mark replied extremely quickly via email with the answers to my questions. During the time I was asking Mark questions and he was replying I mentioned it would be my birthday while I was here, Mark put a bottle of Moscato in our fridge for me, I was very touched. Crossing Gulf Dr to get to the beach was exremely easy. We were on the beach almost every day. We also walked to Bridge Street to wander the shops, have a few drinks and meals. I would highly recommend visiting Bridge St. Our last day was perfect for walking the beach from our area to Coquina Beach enjoying the water, sun, sand and relaxation. I am almost afraid to say this but I highly recommend you check out Island Getaway rentals, but I want to stay here again and don’t want it all booked up, so if you save me a spot, check this place out.

We absolutely loved our #5 rental, as it was truly perfect for a couple and the location was wonderful, from it’s close proximity to the beach in one direction and the bay in the other, and the festive Bridge Street shops and restaurants, all just a short walk away. Very clean and very well supplied, with everything you need other than food, along with a beautiful shared courtyard for relaxing and meeting nice neighbors. Five stars across the board and kudos to owner Mark Anthony for a his super-friendly nature and accommodating service!

The welcome of warm lighting in a sparkling clean kitchen as we entered was a lovely start to our beautiful stay at Island Getaway. The bed was so comfortable that we fell asleep early in the cozy, well-decorated bedroom. We appreciate the quality sheets & linens. The fishing poles and bait bucket were super convenient since we flew in and didn’t have gear with us. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock on the bay and caught several fish. It was fun watching the pelicans and blue heron. The short walk in the other direction to the beautiful, peaceful beach was a treat! We shopped at Publix nearby and made most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen and the grill in the courtyard. Everything we needed was there, and I like the new sponge in the package. The tile in the kitchen and bathroom are an appealing added element. The grounds are well kept and charming. The hosts happen to be on property and it was a great pleasure to meet them! Mark & Lilliana make you feel like family! We will definitely be back and highly recommend them and their serene property. They have earned their 5 stars.
