The property was lovely, spacious and modern. It had lots of great extras that were useful such as high chair, plenty of beds, 2 bathrooms, it was cosy and we were very pleased. It was located not far walk from the centre of Sandyballs, took 2 mins to walk there which was great. Also not far from the local highstreet and pubs. It was very family friendly. The host was very helpful beforehand sharing lots of information prior to arriving which also was great service and made the stay easier. So thank you.

The property was generally clean but there were some areas that weren’t, such us big cobwebs and dust between cabinets and top of wardrobes and curtains. The blinds looked dirty also and the shower door was dirty and not well cleaned as had old dirt stuck in parts of it. Otherwise it was very well maintained and looked after and those things didn’t ruin our stay but we’re just noticed. What did let the lodge down a bit was there was not enough toilet rolls, bin bags or even a tea towel to dry the dishes so we also went through a lot of kitchen roll due to this. When asked where more bin bags were located we were advised we had to buy more. We had already had to buy toilet roll and kitchen roll whilst also providing our own bedding, towels and everything else. I felt for the price we were paying to stay and what we were being asked to do in terms of the bedding and towels as well, we should at least expect the basics to be provided such as toilet roll and bin bags. So yeah we still had a lovely time but I think if customers are expected to literally bring everything from toilet roll this should be specified in the sale.

Location was ok.
