Convenient location, near main road but quiet. Welcoming and friendly hosts, bedroom large with tremendous sea view.
Good breakfast with home baking. Good seafood restaurant recommendation (we went twice)

Clunky toilet cystern lid every time the toilet was flushed.
Breakfast - challenging to get value for money as owner said they don't like waste, so actually don't want to feed you

Beautiful setting, large and comfortable rooms, well-supplied with all things needed and a lovely breakfast too. Hosts are so welcoming and thoughtful, it’s a haven with wonderful views of Youghal bay and the estuary. Easy access to Youghal for work or pleasure!

Host was super attentive and friendly. Room was very comfortable and warm (particularly important as it was -2 Celsius the night I stayed). The view is spectacular.

this was a last-minute booking because of changed travel plans. we had a late check-in but the hosts, who had sent us an excellent google maps location for finding the right turn-off, were very friendly and the house was exceptionally well furnished and located, overlooking the picturesque bay of Youghal. The breakfast was perfect, full Irish but not greasy and with fine coffee.

Warm welcome, ample space for parking, the room/bathroom was spacious and very clean. There was a TV with Netflix in the room which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was honestly really good, very tasty food/coffee, we even had homemade muffins ! The location was perfect for us as we were here for an event in Youghal (5min by car). I highly recommend it !

Breakfast was most enjoyable and always hot and freshly cooked to order. Plenty of food catering for continental taste alongside traditional British.
A mirror in reach of a plug for hairdryer would have been useful - I moved the one from bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at Ardsallagh Lodge, it was just like being at home. Aniko, Eva and John were very kind, helpful and caring. We got excellent suggestions of the surroundings of Youghal. Breakfast was delicious, too. The rooms were clean, large and comfy with Netflix and even a whirlpool. From our room we saw the sea. We highly recommend this place!

John and his wife were exceptional hosts. Breakfast every morning was a highlight. Their attention to presentation, delivery, service, and execution of the meals was outstanding. This is a beautiful lodge...a hidden gem!

The room was very large massive double comfortable bed the ensuite was big with a double jacuzzi bath separate double shower loads of room. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
