It was a lovely property, very well decorated and clean.

Our host couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the property was very light and well presented. The plants and the sparkly lights were a lovely touch

As an occasional wheelchair user with mobility difficulties, the property was ideal for my purposes, flat and level with a single step to get into the premises

The decorative stones immediately outside the property made it slightly difficult to pull my suitcase across

The room itself is immaculate with ensuite and shower in room. The owners are incredibly kind and so welcoming. They allow use of the garden which backs onto a beautiful little stream. There is so much info in a booklet in your room thats given about the area and also it's only a 5 min walk and you are on the high street. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything. The location was perfect ,5 mins from town ,the host was attentive and easy to communicate with, the cabin was clean cosy and had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy

All excellent for our stopover.

Good quality furnishing and decoration. Breakfast items, tea and coffee were a bonus. Quiet loction very close to the high street. Owner was very knowledgeable re the area and places to eat.

A small washing up bowl for cleaning the cups/plates/cutlery would be useful.

The property is in the garden of the owners house and the key was left in the door for us in case Kimmy was out when we arrived. As it was she was in and came out to welcome us. The Garden Room was cute and well put together with all the facilities you would need. The bed was super comfy and the duvet good quality so we had a wonderful sleep. A simple cold breakfast was provided which was all we needed. There was a small outdoor area where you could sit and have a drink, as well as an area by the river you could use if you wanted. Would definitely recommend for a couple/single person who wanted a good value place to stay in Honiton. Both Kimmy and her husband were very friendly, gave plenty of information and were very happy to help in any way.

You could hear the traffic from the nearby A30, but not too loudly and it was not a problem for us.

Property was well equipped, spotlessly clean and lovely and quiet. Shower was fab and bed very comfortable.

The accommodation was brilliant for our short stay ,spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, everything has been thought out for visitors, the area down by the river is lovely with seating to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere ,kimmy is a brilliant host ,she made us feel very welcome and if we needed anything she was there ,only a 5 minute walk and you have shops,pubs ,restaurants to visit ,we had a lovely couple of days and we will definitely return to the garden room ,when we are in the area again.

Having to leave

We had a really lovely stay. The Garden Room is located in a very good spot with the High Street a few minutes walk away with lots of shops, pubs, restaurants and more. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The host Kimmy made us feel very welcome and left us with some lovely goodies for breakfast and more. The Garden Room has a seating area just outside with a gate to a lovely garden area with a bench, perfect for our little Westie. So beautiful and quiet and full of nature. Excellent Location! We had such a lovely stay.

Location was very great. The host was amazing and very friendly. She had everything arranged perfectly. The room was very cozy and well decorated. We felt very welcomed and at home and had a great stay overall.
