I stayed for a long weekend with my adult children while visiting family. Location is close one of the inclines. It is typical working class Pittsburgh neighborhood. Some of the surrounding homes show a bit of deferred maintenance, yet knowing the area I felt safe there. It's a very convenient launch to many Pittsburgh destinations. Pro Tip: Check the Pirates baseball schedule for fireworks. People gather on the incline landing to watch them across the river at PNC park. The kitchen is well appointed which I greatly appreciate. I have allergies so cooking is a necessity for me. Everything I needed, including a great fridge, was provided. When my brother and sister in law visited for a few hours, there were 5 of us in the living room. The small side chairs aren't very comfortable so two people sat on the couch and three sat on the floor for our visit. All ok for our group. It's a great set up for smaller groups. Two of the beds were very comfy. One was super soft which didn't work for us but might for someone else. The upstairs loft is super cute and private. My son found that bed very comfortable. Heat rises, so it does get warm up there. An air conditioner is provided. Showers were great. Finding street parking was never a problem. Very comfortable stay in a fun Pittsburgh neighborhood.

We were in town for a competition and the location was perfect. We had easy access to everything we needed. It was nice and quite when we needed the rest. We also saw several deer which was very cool. Definitely recommend, the host was great and even had a book with several ideas of where to eat and things to do.

Great stay! Family stayed together here to attend a wedding in downtown pittsburgh. Location of property was awesome. Easy to get to anywhere around the city and walking distance to great restaurants and the Incline! Definitely would recommend.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay here. The house was clean upon arrival, convenient to greater Pittsburgh destinations, and comfortable. The area is quiet and feels safe. Neighbors were cordial. Street parking was easy. We used the 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. All were adequately cooled by the central AC system. Full baths on 1st and 2nd floors. Plenty of hot water. Backyard is a work in progress, but full of nature: a doe and her two fawns, groundhogs, rabbits. Two mourning doves nesting on the front porch fledged while we were there! Back deck is nice but would benefit from faster-drying chair cushions. Kitchen wished-for-items: stainless steel reusable pod for the Keurig, dish towels, can opener (the kind that makes a triangular opening in the top of a can), a glass pitcher of sorts. Staircases to 2nd and 3rd floors have shallow (front to back) carpeted stair treads - not really a problem - but important to keep in mind. Recommended Mt. Washington restaurant: Gordo's. Recommended automotive status: good brakes!

We stayed at the house for a family wedding. The church was a half mile away and the reception was at the Le Mont which was a short walk. Getting around the city was very easy. The furniture was dated and not in the greatest shape but functional. Street parking is limited.
