The rooms have been recently renovated. It looks like they went on the Temu app and purchased everything for the hotel. It’s all so super cheap it’s already falling apart. Some things are still super old and broken.
-Fire doesn’t work
-Screen door is off
-The ac has a bright light u can’t turn off
-the door chain, chains to nothing
However, I freaking love this place.
The staff is wonderful!
The view is amazing!
Nice, charming change form the cookie cutter hotels!

The hotel has beautiful views of the lake. The spa/gym was nice.
Had a small hiccup with check-in -- our keys weren't activated, but that was quickly fixed. The deluxe room was large and comfortable, but I wish they swept the floors which had a lot of dust. The bathroom was also spacious.
One thing to note -- my room apparently was in the renovated portion of the hotel (Lake Lodge). Others in my group had rooms in the older portion and were not satisfied with their rooms. If possible, ask for newer rooms upon booking

My stay at the Konocti Harbor Resort over the Fourth of July week was excellent…I arrived very late in the early morning and was greeted by Trisha (I’m sorry if I got her name wrong) she works in the accounting department and is the night manager of the resort. I am very impressed because we hit it off right away. The night auditor is a very friendly person who is very knowledgeable and very personable and made my stay at the resort very pleasant. At first when I arrived into my room it was very HOT but I eventually figured out how to operate the air conditioner and eventually my room was completely chilled. I had dinner in the resort restaurant and I was impressed with my meal. Overall I enjoyed my time and I even made time to relax in the swimming pool which is much appreciated because Clear Lake isn’t so clear and clean. Other than that I think it’s a good value to spend time at the Konocti Harbor Resort.

A true gem of a resort! New yearly getaway with the family for sure. Super cool place to be with an amazing lake view. Fun for everyone and for all ages! One of my new favorites ♥️

Ants in the bathroom was unpleasant. Air condioning in the 100 deg heat was inadiquate. The shower had only hot water. Restaurant and bar are closed during the week, which was not clear on the website and closest restaurant is 20 min drive. Bed was comfortable. View of the lake was great. Free charging was a nice bonus.

The Konockti Harbor Inn is one of my favorite places. I have been going there my entire life. It evokes great childhood memories for me. It needs a little TLC but it has a very cool old vibe. I was disappointed that I arrived to late on Sunday to have a drink and some food by the pool. but it is a sign of the times now a days. Things are more difficult for everyone. I still love to stsy there though.

The property had a terrific lake view and was clean.
The resort charged $40 for "resort" and "property" fees (???). The front desk could not tell us what these fees covered. The only thing open was a pool and a small store. All three on site advertised restaurants and bars were closed. The marina and kayak rental was closed. We couldn't use anything we were interested in, but still had to pay the fees. The WiFi was terrible and they only had Roku TV. Then to top it all off, the power went out in the morning and I had to shower in the dark and could not use my blow dryer. Not their fault, I understand, but the lack of amenities was unforgivable, there should not have been a charge for these things. The place has potential, but its not there yet by a long shot.

The resort is renovated and very cute. Right on the lake. Nice views from our room. Their choice in keyless entry locks is interesting. Our didn’t work and we couldn’t get into our room. Had to have a maintenance man come but a security guard came to help us get in our room instead. He was helpful but said they didn’t have a maintenance man for the evenings. Their free breakfast was decent. Overall stay was enjoyable. Would stay again when visiting family in town.

The location is great. It is unfortunate that the rooms are old (even though they were recently remodeled) they stuck really bad to make it worst. The appliances are old and loud. The bathroom is a joke. Small shower you almost had to be on your needs to make sure water hit your head as the shower head is fixed.

The location is beautiful and the view from the rooms are great. The service in the restaurant was slow and the breakfast buffet was overpriced. We went to a Charity Luau and it was pleasant. However, the bar service was SLOW. And they ran out of deserts!!!

At first upon booking the receptionist did not tell me the correct rate for the holiday weekend and not knowing of that the cancellation policy was different as well
But then overall they fixed the problem

The resort has lot of potential in terms the location and planned facilities. But nothing works for now. They claim Kayak rental onsite but there is none. They kept repeating that it will be in place in a few hours but it never was in place. Same for BBQ. Swimming pool was cold and not useable. No wonder the place was deserted even for the long weekend, even after such false advertising

They need a lot of work done. It feels like you’re staying in an abandoned resort. Spa is not open. They are severely short staffed. I would love to see them target young families instead of retirees. The mini golf would have been nice to be open for the kids. I hope they can renovate more and work on the kinks.

Beautiful property, clean, parking close to guest rooms, quiet (except upstairs at night), food available and adequate. We tried to make a reservation at 10:00 a.m., and were told you started serving brunch at 10, but we couldn't reserve. The next day we learned that brunch began at 9:00, which suited us better. It was pretty good, but lacked service (such as refilling coffee).

Great to see this property is up and running again. Apparently they're bringing back entertainment, but no outdoor arena shows (too bad—they had so many great bands perform here). It's apparent that they're trying their best to get the property up to speed with a limited crew, but every staff member we talked to was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, with an excellent view of the lake. The property overall needs a lot of work, but it's such an iconic setting. With some polish and good marketing to get the word out, this place could rock again!

There was nothing to eat open and it didn't say that anywhere when I booked it. The woman behind the desk was not helpful finding a place to ear. I stood at the front desk ringing the bell for 10 minutes before someone came to help. I was early to check in but she said my room had not been cleaned yet. This is a large resort and there was not 1 other car at the hotel They absolutely could have accommodated me after a long drive but couldn't even offer me a room any earlier than 4:00. They claimed to have had the cleaning people scheduled. WHO CARES!!! CHANGE IT! When I did come back the gentleman who helped me apologized for the woman earlier and said she should have given me a room.

This is a beautiful property. We didn't have any hot water, but the facility got someone out there and it was fixed within a few hours.
