A bit noisy but due to its perfect central location

They gave me a bigger room so I could store my bicycle inside. I accidentally dumped my keycard into the crack between elevator and wall, and immediately got a new one (still sorry for that).

It was very clean and comfortable, the street outside was noisy so ir was sometimes a little difficult to sleep but the location is very good

the man behind reception was erratic and started shouting at me very close to me, he became really aggressive. Luckily another man heard the shouting and the man went behind the reception again even though he didn’t stop shouting. Really terrifying experience. The only bad experience I have had in Spain but especially as a solo female traveler having a very large man be aggressive and shout at me was really terrifying and left me feeling really rattled and unsafe. DO NOT GO HERE.

It’s very good to stay for one night before start going Camino Primitivo. It’s not faraway from bus station. Everything is clean and nice for that price.

Location is close to restaurants and shopping center. The city is not that big so walking around is a good option.

I would say the only concern is parking. It depends where you park how far the walk will be. The one they recommend me was a 10min walk. Not that bad but something you must keep in mind.

No fire alarm in room. I prefer not to stay in accomodation without this safety measure.

The location is perfect right in the center.

The Pension Romero is perfectly located in downtown Oviedo within walking distance of the Cathedral, park, and restaurant district. The pension is small, but very clean with a private bathroom. The outside street can be a little noisy at night, but as pilgrims starting the Camino Primitivo from Oviedo, we could not have asked for a better place to prepare for our pilgrimage.

Location was perfect. Close to the park and Cathedral and train station, and along the Camino route which made things easy for me. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Friendly staff.

The hotel was very clean and the price/quality ratio was OK. The best about the stay there was the location, could not be more in the city centre, but it was not loudy in the room

The shower work well, but again the towels looked dirty and feel moist, liked if they were fold wet 😳. They just give shower gel, not even a soap to wash your hands and the "plastic glasses" they gave me seems to be already used because when I remove the plastic cover they were some drops of water. The staff was ok, even though they won't be able to offer you a meal outside of Spanish meal hours, which is understandable but as a pilgrim is hard to plan for those schedules.

The hotel it's old but that was not the issue. I think the worse part was the bed, that was a simple mattress over a metal estructure that shakes and feel unstable and if you have been walking 30 km with a backpack for sure won't help. The sheets looks dirty not with stains but with dust and little hairs I have to clean out. The door of the room, even though was closed, made a lot of noise with the wind so I had to put a chair to hold it from move. The room doesn't have air conditioner or heater so I wouldn't recommend to stay here if the weather will be too hot or cold.
