This was a great place to stay! Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Ford Field is a very short, safe walk away. Very close to lots of restaurants as well. Would stay here again!

Valet was chaotic! Not exactly their fault, it was an extremely busy weekend. The Valet line was wrapped around the corner of the street and impeded traffic very badly. This made a lot of people not waiting for valet extremely angry. Felt unsafe while waiting for it. Once we did get to Valet, I felt rushed and no one asked if I needed a trolley to bring my luggage upstairs with. We were staying for multiple nights so we had quite a bit of luggage. They did eventually bring us a trolley, but it only cost more time backing Valet up even further. Despite the chaos, the gentleman were very kind and patient, took great care of my car, and even fetched an item I forgot in the vehicle for me. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. One of the most beautiful lobbies ive ever seen. The room was very nice and clean. Super comfy bed. Shower had very little pressure and doesnt get very hot. TV was not able to be viewed from any of the seating or bed. All in all it was a fantastic experience. Will visit again. The restaurants and bars in the building are also incredible!

Beautiful hotel in excellent condition however the AC unit whistles each time it cycled on/off throughout the night. Front desk acknowledged it is a problem in most rooms. Also noise from street throughout the night easily heard even though it’s not a busy street. My room was on 4th floor. Unfortunate that an otherwise gorgeous hotel isn’t one you’ll easily sleep in

Such a great space! Very modern and clean. Location was very convenient. Staff was very nice but service was a little slow. Had to go somewhere else for breakfast because there was only one server taking care of everyone.

The property and locations were excellent. The rooftop bar had incredible views. THe historic building and renovations were superb. Staff excellent. Our only slightly negative comment was that the queen bed was up against a wall/window on 1 side. Could not get in/out of bed during night easily without disturbing partner.

It was hard to see the television because it was so far from the bed. The remote control was a cypher. Rooftop restaurant was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very nice and clean.

Such a beautiful building! We stayed in a Queen studio for a Tiger game weekend and it was fantastic. Everything you could need for a stay was provided in your room from dishes, to a dishwasher, and even a washer and dryer. Housekeeping does a great job maintaining the cleanliness of their Aparthotel. So many things to do and experience within walking distance. I would highly recommend and stay again in the future.

Roost is an amazing place to stay, especially if you like to have an apartment layout away from home. It was clean, the amenities were wonderful and the staff is absolutely fantastic!

We booked a queen studio. We dropped our bags and then rushed off to catch the Tigers game. When we returned we were bothered by a very loud whistling noise from the inner courtyard and the air vent. The person at the front desk (Evette) very graciously found us another room on the same floor, and we ended up in a lovely room that was much larger and quieter. Upgrade is an understatement. She went above and beyond helping us. We were so thankful. This was our second stage at this hotel and will stay again (but we will be mindful to check certain room logistics next time such as inner facing with the courtyard situation). Wonderful hotel. Great location and very helpful staff. The sake bar was a lovely place to end the day as well. We look forward to staying again when visiting Detroit.

really liked the hotel, only issue is that our room wasn't ready at check in time, The hotel was full from a wedding before, then concert had it full the day of check in. They provided a comp for breakfast for the inconvenience. If not for the check in issue, would have been one of the better hotels I've stayed in.

If we ever come back to Detroit we would have to stay at the Roost. Beautiful facility. Great central location. So many dining options (whispers, "there's a speakeasy downstairs"). Loved the apartment amenities (fridge, common area, and full kitchen) in a historic building.

We loved the Corktown area, enjoyed walking to the beautiful train station, and uber(ing) to Belle Isle. Our room was swell and the washer & dryer came in handy! The Roost was pretty nippy inside! Thanks for a great week!

The ROOST Detroit was great! The room was clean and spacious. They have great amenities like an in-unit washer and dryer, cookware, and complimentary water. The staff at the front desk were friendly. They have nice lobby decor, and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Even their rooftop had good drinks and nice views of Downtown Detroit. Definitely recommend!

Wow!! We walked into stunning Book Tower to check in was pretty exciting! It’s gorgeous!! Our room was fantastic!! Lovely modern furnishings and finishes. The entire space is so well-designed and we were shocked at the high quality materials, sofa, tables, etc. Our room had everything we needed to cook, but we were just there for one night. We’ll absolutely here again if we make it back to Detroi!!!

Enjoyed the property very much. Very happy with the restaurant Le Supreme which was also in the building. The only problem was the lack of natural light in the internal rooms. Otherwise great property.
