New property, lobby was nice

We were out in a handicap room which was awkward (bathroom) for our needs. There was no housekeeping and no signage that there would be no housekeeping. When we got back to our room to find it had not been cleaned, we called for fresh towels, waited 1-1/2 hours, called again & finally got them. Didn’t like the parking options either.

We were here for the National Science Olympiad 2024. The hotel is convenient because it’s very closed to MSU. We feel comfortable in our room. Breakfast was good.

If you book through a third party website, the hotel will still charge you full price and hold it on arrival. You will pay double the room cost up front. Its been a few days and no refund yet. The parking is horrible. They have one handicap spot near the entrance. For a five floor hotel that is not enough. The limited parking up top next to the hotel was constantly full. They do have a public paid parking lot next door for $21 for 24 hrs. It had a double set of stairs to get up. Not helpful for handicap or luggage transport. There were three gals at the front desk. One was extremely cold in temperament. Immediately rude. Another worker did kindly intervene to change the atmosphere. The room had hair still on the sink and in the shower. It was not as clean as it should have been. I wiped it up myself. The air did not work properly. Also, because of the University graduation that weekend, the room cost double from any other weekend for the same room. Bad business practice.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds were the most comfortable I have had in a hotel.

Having to pay an additional $20 per day for parking was not appreciated. The hotel has a little parking, but not nearly enough if it is at full occupancy.

Very nice room and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good for my needs. Breakfast was good but not the best I have seen. There was a restaurant and bar on location in a connecting hotel.

The parking was not great at all. The hotel has no parking available. The only parking was in a city or private lot across the street and there was a charge to park. Overnight parking was $20 extra and the hotel did not validate your parking. The listing did not make any mention, at I could see, of the additional charges for parking, very disappointing.
