When we booked we were under the impression we had booked apartment 6 which is what we can infer the room on the pictures but we were not made aware at any point until checkin that we had been assigned apartment 2 and it was the furthest from what we had thought we booked. • Apartment not as nice as pictures make out • Check in process unclear as I had to message the host for details • Smelt like curry when we were inside • Kitchen ceiling falling apart • All amenities were unclean and the washing machine smelt like something had died • Kitchen utensils were rotten like they had been dipped in cold water and left • Stains on the living room couch • Shower head doesn't go up so you have to hold it • Shower didn’t drain properly • Mold up the walls of the shower • Sink leaking out of the bottom of the bowl • Dirty cotton pad left of the top of drawers • Bedroom mattresses were bent • Wardrobes lopsided • Heater was decades old and smelt like it was burning • Light-switch hanging off the wall • No radiator in the main bedroom so it never heated up

We arrived late at the property to hear men arguing on the lower apartments which frightened the children. There was very poor communication with the owner and i only found i was booked into apartment 5, and not 6 that i had requested, upon arrival. The apartment stank of cigarettes, the owner said it was non smoking, but there were cigarette burns in the sofa. The rooms were dark and depressing. The bed had a duvet cover for a sheet and blood stains on the matress. The apartment was poorly finished with bare wires in the bathroom, plinths missing in the kitchen. I was unable to fully open one cupboard due to draws not being fixed in place and blocking the cupboard. When i did look inside the cupboard was filthy, also food substances under the sofa. We had to stay that night as it was too late to move with 2 children. We left the following morning as early as possible. The electricity did go off over night so it was freezing and my medical equipment was not working. When i contacted the owners on several occasions they showed no interest even when i explained i was travelling with a disabled child. Beyond belief. I did not realise you could give no stars above otherwise i would have done.
