Die Villa ist sehr modern eingerichtet und auch sehr nah am Zentrum von Ubud. Das Team von Sanctuary Villas ist sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen.

Die Villa ist nicht privat! Der Pool und auch der Wohnbereich sind von den gegenüber liegenden Villen komplett einsehbar. Ich habe mich nicht wohl und privat gefühlt, da tagsüber immer Handwerker herübergesehen haben. Ich hatte dies reklamiert, aber keinen Discount auf die Übernachtungsrate bekommen. Ich hatte Besuch von 2 Affen, die sämtliche Türen der Schränke geöffnet haben und Obst und Schokolade gefressen haben. Auch waren in der Nacht wieder Affen in der Villa, aber es war vom Personal niemand hier der helfen konnte. Das Personal hat zwar eine WhatsApp Gruppe, aber ich habe erst am Morgen eine Antwort bezüglich der Affen erhalten. Auch war der kleine Tresor nur leicht in der Wand verankert. Ich hatte dies reklamiert und es wurde anfangs nicht richtig repariert. Bei erneuter Reklamation habe ich ein kostenloses Frühstück erhalten. Der Tresor wurde jetzt fester in der Wand verankert.

По утрам сильно орут петухи и будят уже в 6 утра( и шторы на вилле прозрачные, солнце также рано будит. В остальном все прекрасно

Harika bir villa ve ekip. burada 5 gün geçirdikten sonra tekrar 7 gün uzattık ve pişman olmadık burası monkey forest’e yakın ve zaman zaman maymunlar sizi ziyarete gelebilir personel bizi bu konuda uyarmıştı ve sabah 5 de biri odamıza geldi bizi korkuttu ama eğlenceliydi :) dışarda yemek bırakmamaya dikkat edin. My stay at sanctuary villas was beautiful. The staff were truly lovely and kind and the location is perfect, close to the monkey forest and popular Ubud locations. I was blessed enough to attend the opening ceremony.

Amazing location, amazing and very responsive staff! Very clean, brand new villa with everything you need included. Staff make your stay very personal. No problems with noise, from nature or construction. Villa is in walking distance to shops and restaurants

Nur Kleinigkeiten zu verbessern. Tresor zu klein und nicht befestigt. Duschkopf defekt. Waschbecken sollte befestigt werden. Kühlschrank kühlt unzureichend.

Staff were absolutely amazing! My friend unfortunately got sick from a restaurant the night before we arrived but the staff were so accommodating and lovely. Providing us with any last minute requests and were so helpful with answering all our questions. It was located on a street with many wonderful restaurants that made nights very easy. We knew about the construction in advance but honestly didn’t hear much noise at all.

It was very comfortable and clean. Sanctuary staff was very accommodating, very responsive and professional. They were always available for what we needed and very friendly.

If I have to point out something that could be considered for improvement would be prices for laundry as it was 30000 rupiah per kilo and outside they have prices about 6000 rupiah per kg

The villa is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and so helpful.

There is some building work going on at the moment which was intermittently noisy from about 8am to 4pm. I’ve also suggested that some blackout curtains are installed as we woke up with the sun.

The Villa itself was beautiful, modern and had a beautiful pool area. Loved the outdoor shower and bath area and the relaxing hammock by the pool. Breakfast was excellent too we really enjoyed our açai bowls and fresh fruits. Fantastic layout and spacious.

The Villa is under construction with workers directly opposite our Villa that could see into our pool and bedroom area. This made for no privacy and is not a private Villa. The staff were excellent about it when we expressed our concerns and refunded us part of our stay with no cancellation fees. Construction in the villa should be finished in April and would love to come back once completed.

We arrived super early 9am our bags were held for us, and we received a message when our villa was ready. The villa itself amazing even better than the photos, it was the small things like coffee plungers with real coffee and loose tea, bean bags, towels, bed netting, plants :-) The staff would literally bend over backwards for you always promptly available via whatsapp whether it was for cleaning or stocking the fridge with your favourites before arriving We had a small issue where the next-door hotel could see into our pool area, we alerted staff and the next day there was a bamboo wall up for extra privacy. Enjoyed an inhouse breakfast on our departure day which was delicious. support local and book tours direct with a local taxi driver cheaper and more exclusive we went quad biking and were the only two so a private VIP experience. Everything is within walking distance massage food tours or inhouse if you don't want to leave. Very private self contained escape from the world. There were some renovations going on to complete other villas and amenities to the property and we were always advised by staff of what was going on if there was any noise to be made during the day. We look forward to returning and seeing the finished product..

Having to leave and go back to reality. Was a little tricky to find as didn't have any signage at the time we stayed. Not in relation to the villas themselves but Neighbourhood alarm clocks aka known as roosters needed to get on board with just one crow and get their watches aligned otherwise all great nothing to fault.

We verbleven er aanvankelijk maar 1 nacht, dit was echter zo goed dat we een 2de nacht bijgeboekt hebben. De villa ligt op wandelafstand van Monkey Forest en van het centrum van ubud. Het was er rustig en ontspannen verblijven. Een aanrader!

Achteraan zijn er nog verbouwingen bezig (heb je echter geen last van) Het binnenkomen naar de villa’s (oprit) ligt nog onder constructie.

Beautiful property with a lovely spacious patio. The pool was large and a perfect temperature. Incredibly friendly and hospitable staff that attended to our needs. The location was perfect for walking into Ubud and enjoying all of the incredible restaurants.

Nothing we didn’t like, there was construction going on but it really had very little impact on us.

The style and the staff. The pool was a perfect temperature, bed & pillows were comfy. Mini fridge drinks were restocked regularly and it had a laundry service.

Bedroom wasn’t properly sealed (windows & doors had a gap) so lots of mosquitoes could get in. Location was much further down Bisma than I expected so not as central as I’d hoped. Construction was very noisey and workers loud and always around. No TV in Villa and bedroom was small. Also not full privacy from neighbouring houses from outdoor shower.

Very illogical: there is the monkey forest nearby, the place recommends to take all your things inside to protect from the monkeys (and they really came last night), but there is only one reel and a little cupboard inside, no extra wardrobe or shelves. Where can we put all the things? Monkeys may come, sit and touch all the surfaces in the kitchen in search of food and you never know if smth is clean or not. Is this safe ir hygienic? Why to build the place with the kitchen outside? The fridge is so tiny like a minibar that we barely could keep the stuff inside, but we like to cook and there is a real kitchen. You can literally lock ONLY the gate. All the other doors are open as sliders so your belongings are not really protected when you sleep. And there was a construction in operation 20 meters away during the day. There are no proper curtains. Only white and transparent. So be careful to take a sleeping mask as without it you can not sleep. You are protected from mosquitos by a net around the bed but it is uncomfortable as it touches you on every corner. Too many picturesque things for Instagram with no sense

Unfortunately nearby rooster that wouldn't stop all day and early hours of the morning - very annoying. Bed isn't comfortable, netting around the bed to prevent bugs from getting in but they still managed. All areas covered by ants and other bugs but other than that, cannot fault it. I think the water supply is on a timer as we had no water early hours of the morning and hot water runs out 15 mins when in use. Please note villa is still under construction as it's not fully complete so you do hear noises throughout the day but it's tolerable.

Location is fantastic - Villa is absolutely beautiful and such a relaxing place to stay - hosts were wonderful and accommodating, easy to arrange scooters and day trips through the accommodation which was super convenient.

We had to ask for an iron for the room but it was delivered so quickly. Slight damp/musty smell to the bathroom (pebble shower area) but really didn't bother us much.

Great location, we walked everywhere and didn’t booked a single taxi during our stay. The bed comes with a really thoughtful feature of mesh around the bed - works wonders for escaping bugs. The host is great at communicating and very friendly. Pool is decently sized and very clean.

Unfortunately there was a nearby rooster going off at around 4 in the morning, but it didn’t bother us too much.

INSTAGRAMMABLE. This place is so pretty and so aesthetic. Has a pool - the pool is so deep its crazy. Massive bottled water. Fruity drinks made on arrival. Carried our bags to our room. Super lovely hosts who went over and beyond to have a nice chat and explain everything. There was construction but we couldn't hear anything and they told us of this prior to our arrival. Hammock. You can order breakfast if you want to (floating too). Make your own coffee and tea station. AMAZING kitchen/sink facilities.

At night time lots of mosquitos (they have curtains and mosquito nets though). Bathroom was located outside kind of. The sink hole smelled bad - we just put the plug in though. The entrance is very hard to find, we couldn't see any signage. They had to come out to find us and we walked through dirt tracks due to the construction. Honestly, none of these issues affected our stay, we had an amazing time!

After staying just one night when I first arrived in Ubud I had to book to come back again! Jl. Bisma is a great location, close to everything while still feeling peaceful. Great outdoor living area for work or relaxation. Great to have a little kitchenette with everything you need for longer stays. The pool is huge! The perfect base for short or long stays in Ubud.

The villa was a beautiful design in a lovely location off the hustle and bustle of the main streets but still close enough to get everywhere easily. We loved watching the rain and storms from the patio, the pool was beautiful and deep and the bed very comfortable. The staff were attentive and helped us with everything we needed. The lucky family cafe is a must visit whilst here, we spent every day enjoying their amazing food!

Due to the location of the villas, we were woken by the surrounding roosters very early each morning, so it is a property that requires headphones/earplugs for light sleepers. The villas themselves are still a work in progress, with construction going during the day. The open air nature of the property means that bug spray is essential, and as the bedroom isn’t sealed closed, it’s best to leave bedroom lights off to keep the bugs out while we slept. There is only a lock on the gate into the property making it a bit unsecure, and there is easy visibility into the villa from the cafe nearby.

Villa exceeded my expectations above and beyond. Beautiful bohemian style, loved the big swimming pool, hammock and living area to chill. Bed is extremely comfortable and bathroom is both practical and ‘instagrammable’. There is nothing more I could ask for.
