The place itself was ok, not far from town and a convenient walking distance to amenities.

There are a few things that could be improved and some that really need to be sorted. The kettle was disgusting and left A LOT of flaky limescale in the cup so I had to thoroughly clean it before using it again. Not something you want after an extremely long journey. There was water damage/damp around the skylights. There is a very deep step into the lounge area and not suitable for anyone who may be slightly unsteady on their feet. Personally I'm waiting on a hip operation and found it very difficult to get in and out of the property. There at the very least should be a warning sign about it. The mattress is completely unacceptable, you wouldn't find that standard in a cheap hostel let alone in a property you paid hundreds of pounds to stay in. The cupboard doors in the kitchen did not close properly and have been poorly installed. The shower is not encased properly and floods the bathroom floor so you have to be quite quick. The pain was peeling off the wall from where the water hits it. To get to the property you have to walk down a couple dark alleys and it's all gravel. The area is a little rough at night and is not at all safe. Unstable and unlit ground mixed with local drunks does not make for a good stay. Overall personally I would not recommend this property for the price and some changes really need to be made.
