The hosts Nelida and Adelino are very friendly and easy to talk to. They will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Adelino helped me organize transportation to the airport with a taxi driver called Fred (if I remember correctly) and he also put me in touch with an agency where I could plan part of my trip to Fogo.

Sometimes it takes a while for the hosts to see your message and respond. Also, on arrival, I waited in the airport for about an hour not knowing if they were going to pick me up as planned. In the end it all worked out fine.
