Excellent breakfast, food served by happy staff

Radiator control in room did not function TV remote was missing no USB plugs for phone, However this did not bother me. Enough to not enjoy my stay

Staff was surprised we had a booking DESPITE me calling up to confirm our expected arrival time. At 10pm we were told we were NOT allowed to leave the premises to get something to eat as the doors would be locked, room was not clean & toilet had human excrement in still. When I complained I was verbally assaulted, humiliated in front of other customers and thrown out of the hotel with the owner blaming me for being irresponsible. The owner then did not want to refund me despite telling me to leave. We were left at 10pm gone with having to find somewhere else to stay

This pub offers clean and comfortable rooms and is run by a small team of friendly staff. The food is all cooked fresh and is served with a smile. I travelled for business and will definitely stay again when next in the area.

There was nothing to dislike here.
