The pictures of the pool are a selling point. However we were unable to access the pool. We were told the 2nd night of our stay we’d be able to enjoy swimming. But we’re told at last minute we could not. Check earlier in the month review. Same thing happened. So in my opinion the photos should be taken down. Be also aware of the kitchenette. Small table with 5 chairs, the water cooler had an empty jug. So no water until later that evening. Very few table settings and glass wear. Most were paper and plastic. The home and location very beautiful. The unit itself was nicely decorated and clean. We also had the smoke detectors chirping the first night! Just read the reviews and the fine print.

To make a long story short, the suite accommodations were great, but one of the selling points for us reserving this place was the pool, as we had our nephews with us and they were looking forward to that. The "day of arrival", we were informed that the pool was not useable due to some repairs that had to be done. Things happen, so that's totally understandable...I just wish we could have been informed sooner...not to cancel the reservation, but so we could have better prepared an alternative pastime for them that 1st night. Instead of Friday being a quiet relaxing time around the pool, enjoying time with family, we spent the better half of about 4 hours trying to find an alternative. (Note: The pool was initially noted in the posting title and amenities; VRBO confirmed that this was later amended a day after our check-in, after I had asked about it) There were a few other things that happened that we wish could have been avoided, but I don't have enough space to write it all. Nice host and well decorated suite, for sure, but some initial false advertisement "did" take place, unfortunately & as a lessee ourselves, we take pride in being upfront and honest with all of our customers, good, bad or otherwise, so they know what to expect.
