Truly perfect beach rental for a family or group of friends. And we are picky. Location is just across the small street and practically on the beach, amazing views from the large porch, a private pool (we didn’t swim due to our stay being during the cold months), and X-large garage storage room for beach items which would be super convenient during summer/ warm months. Would be easy with children or elderly. There is 1 staircase for entry. The rooms are very comfortable and the loft is truly a 4th bedroom with 2 double beds and sitting area/ TV. The decor is completely updated and beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked as we were able to make breakfast and our favorite meals such as Hawaiian ribeyes. 2 blenders were perfect for peach milkshakes in 1 and adult options in the other. The living area is cozy and we enjoyed competing in the numerous board games at night. The location was quiet despite having neighbors on both sides and being a Spring Break week. Very short drive down to the HangOut and shopping or restaurants. (We always bring our own bath soap, Tp, laundry detergents, coffee, etc, There was a good starter supply for all. Bring your coffee and cooking spices. The coffee maker offers a carafe or use of K-cups. ). We had a wonderful stay and will rent again!

Very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch in morning with a cup of coffee. Location is right down from a convenience store and far enough away from the main drag that traffic was light in front of the property.

Fins Up is a true gem! We had a total of 7 in our party: 4 adults, 2 preteens, and a 6 year old. We had more than enough beds for everyone. The private in-ground pool was a huge hit. There were enough beach chairs, toys, etc in the pool house for all of us, which was phenomenal since we drove 8+ hours and had little room for all of our supplies. Toilet in the pool house was very beneficial. The walk to the beach was super easy. You can see and hear the ocean from the front porch. Just a wonderful place! Will definitely be looking at this property for future beach trips!

We have stayed in quite a few beach houses and this one was one of the cleanest. very neat and orderly. The pillows were nice and white. It was also very nice to have use of the pool house toys, beach chairs, wagon, etc. which saved us from hauling those items across 4 states to use our own.

This is my second year with itrip and fins up. Everything was excellent and hopefully will be able to stay again next year. The house is very nice and perfect for our family. All communication with itrip was excellent as well.

Fins up is a great place to stay! Very clean. Awesome pool! Great view - seeing the ocean out the front was the best. Kitchen has everything you could need. We loved staying here and would definitely stay there again.

We loved everything about this property. Closeness to beach and to downtown Gulf Shores. The pool was amazing. We almost felt bad for other people because our pool was huge! Well kept and the decor was so happy feeling inside. Truly a wonderful vacation-recommended for anyone looking for a place!

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at “Finns Up” with our family of 9. The house was perfect and provided ample space for everyone. There were beach toys, beach chairs and some beach towels in the pool room. It was clearly noted that these items were not sanitized like they do the entire house. We used the chairs and very much appreciated having them available! We loved everything about the house and the description and photos are spot on!

Perfect location, perfect for families, no need to drag an ice chest to the beach, you can just walk across the street and make a sandwich. Super easy with young children. The host were very active, although I never needed to respond to them once, it went that smooth. Will definitly stay here again.

Nice home in a good location. It easily fit our party of 8 with room to spare. It was clean and was exactly as it appeared in the ads. Nice array of beach supplies, outdoor shower. Adding a gas grill would be a nice touch. Keyless entry and easy check in/out process. Management were responsive to any needs.

We had a WONDERFUL time at Fins Up. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The sitting area in the house had plenty of seating for all our guests to be very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked. The house is perfectly located across the street to public beach access. We really enjoyed the ocean view from the front porch!! My only complaint is that the house advertised a BBQ grill and it was not a gas grill. This just came as a surprise and using an older charcoal grill is a lot more work coming off the beach than what we had planned. My other note is that the pool is VERY nice but not useable in the summer months. The sun beats down on the pool from sun-up to sun-down so the water feels like warm bath water. We barely used the pool for this reason. This is obviously out of the owners control but my learning is that I wouldn't pay extra for a house with a pool at southern beaches during summer vacations going forward.

Great Location, across the street and steps from the Ocean, multiple beach access points, with or without cross walk. The proximity to beach was perfect for a family with young kids (return quickly to get forgotten beach supplies, or to get home for a nap. Just 2 miles from the "down town (shops, and restaurants), the road being the house was great for running or biking to "town" (both a walking path and bike lane). Beach was not crowded, and water was warm and fun waves even with longer kids. We would stay again.

My husband and I needed some rest and relaxation and this house was perfect. With a private pool and steps away from beach access we had lots of privacy. It was exactly what we were looking for. The house was very clean and spacious.

We had a great stay. The home was just as pictured. Very close walk to the beach, big private pool although too cold for use really during our stay. It was beautiful.
The couple of times we had to reach out for assistance with maintenance issues, they were answered right away. Everything you could need is there for you and it’s close to some shops and dining.

We stayed a week at Finns up in Gulf Shores. Itrips was great to work with on the initial booking deposit and follow ups for balance due, check in/out information emails as well as discount offers for activities. The property was well maintained and the only issue we had was the pool light going out. They were prompt in contacting the owner and addressing the issue. The home was beautiful and perfect for our family of 8 with 4 adults and three teens. The only thing I would recommend would be a refrigerator with ice/water dispenser. We will be back some day I hope!!

Fins Up allowed us to enjoy a hassle free vacation during this pandemic. The pool provided a wonderful escape. Property was as described. We appreciated the washer and dryer (they do take some time to complete their cycles).

This home is lovely. It was very clean upon arrival. It was very evident that a lot of thought and care went into making it functional along with being awesomely decorated for being at the beach. It was a short distance to the beach access. The Gulf Shores PD constantly patrolled. The highway noise was a bit much at times; however, it was July 4th weekend with lots of guests on the beach. The pool was awesome.
We brought our own umbrellas on a stand to create some shade and a tent too. There was everything you needed in the home. I would highly recommend this home. We thank the owners for allowing us to enjoy it for a week.

We loved our time at this house. So close to the beach, wonderful view off the front porch and the pool is SO nice. We would've stayed another week if it was available. Only things we would change: we wish the light in the pool worked so swimming at night was easier and a vacuum cleaner would've been amazing (sand in house even after rinsing off).

Great place to shelter in place with your family! We wanted a place to stay that was away from others, with own pool and easy beach access. This was perfect! We spent our days going back and forth between the beach and the pool. Very clean and had everything we needed for cooking for ourselves. We would definitely return!

We had another vacation scheduled that was cancelled due to this crazy virus but needed the getaway. I booked this house last minute and I'm so glad I did! It was a PERFECT place to relax and lose a little stress. My only regret is that I couldn't bring my whole family with me. Just my husband and I in this huge place but it was more than expected. The decor, beds, pool, everything was just right! We will definitely be back to this house and I cant wait!

This house was perfect in every way for our family vacation. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly rent this property again. The pool was a hugh plus as our Grandsons especially enjoyed it after spending most of the day at the beach. We all decided if you are going to rent a house at the beach it is best it come with a pool. The house was decorated nicely (really cute) and everything we needed was available. The swing on the front deck was a big hit as you can view the ocean while swinging. I hope we will have another opportunity to visit in the future.

Fins up was exactly what the pictures and listing described. This was our first trip to GS and loved the home and location. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and thought the space was great! Pool was awesome and the beach was just across the street. The home had so many extra nice touches that a rental didn't have to have! Beautiful!

We stayed at Fins Up at the end of July with 2 other families (6 adults and 6 kids). The house was awesome, the location excellent and the pool was immaculate. We put the kids (ages 5-13) in the loft (brought along a blow up mattress just in case) and each couple got their own bedroom. There was plenty of space for all of us. The beach is right across the street, which you can see from the front porch. The house is far enough away from the business center of Gulf Shores to stay secluded but close enough to enjoy the dining and nightlife. We all had a blast and look forward to staying at Fins Up again in the very near future.
