The Marriott is located in a hreat area. The decor is dated and has a mildewy smell in the main hall. Overall its a 3 and a half stars. The bonus is the staff. Great front desk and valets!!!!

Great location, wish there was access out back of hotel to Riverwalk. Check in was great, room clean and no complaints. Restaurant staff ( bartender lacking). Decided to sit at bar for meal as we wanted to see games. While she was taking order kept looking of at another customer then at a co worker drinking at bar and making comments to her. Then a homeless women came in and the way she handled situation was terrible and looks at us and was like you know hotel issues. Well bring those to the side and do not put in customers face.

Check in was great. They have 24hour check in and we were late but the staff and service was eager to assist. Our room was clean and the view to the city was picturesque.

Definitely enjoyed the experience. Was there for comicon so being able to just walk to the convention and back to the hotel was fun. Only downside was not much for tv channels or entertainment. Would recommend a pool being built

We stayed here on a road trip from Texas to North Carolina. We loved the waterfront location! The waterfront was a great place to take a walk after a long day in the car. The restaurant was open late served great food, and provided fabulous service.

This property is lovely and the staff were so pleasant. Everything was clean and well managed from the front lobby to our room and even the on-site restaurant. The staff took time to get to know us and our kids during our stay which made the trip that much more enjoyable. My only critique would be that there is no overnight parking on-site. Instead we parked at a parking garage around the corner from the hotel…not a deal breaker because the parking garage was a short walk but good to know if you plan to drive here for your stay.

Very accommodating front desk; first room had musty smell and they gave me another room with a lovely view of river. Had trouble one night in the restaurant with long wait and poor service but believe staff was under prepared for number of guests attempting to dine.
