I have been living in FL for 50 years, I am so upset that it took me this long to discover one of the BEST TESORT I have stayed!

Though I had a conversation with the hotel manager the day after my stay, I can honestly say all I got was lip service.
Driving home from the Keys, I noticed that I had a rash on the inside of my right arm and on my right-side of my chest. The manager and I discussed "Bed-Bugs", as I felt that the pillow (I sleep with my arm under the pillow). The rash eventually got so itchy I got cortisone cream, which eased the itch. Its now 8 days from my checkout and the rash is now easing up, but per the convo, all I got is "We take great measures to insure we don't have bed bugs". I've stayed at Chica over the years dozens of times, I guess that's gonna have to change.

The property itself was beautiful. Unfortunately, we encountered problems with roaches in our room and a couple of nights without AC.

We went to Cheeca looking for a relaxing vacation and it absolutely did not disappoint! Everything was beautiful, from our room to the restaurants to the pool and the beach. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. We would love to go back for a future vacation, and seriously cannot recommend this property enough!

Excellent hotel service but the people at the kayaks are rude and don’t help you they tell you to grab the paddle boards yourself but they’re locked and tied and when you tell them about it they get mad because they have to get up and do their job

Best place to stay in Islamorada hands down! Beautiful, clean, spacious, comfortable, accommodating. I wish every resort I stay at is like Cheeca.

We absolutely love Cheeka 3 rd year in a row. Great food all over Islamorada. Closest thyroid being in the islands without leaving the US. Snorkeling and diving is better out of Key Largo but best fishing is out of Islamorada if that’s ur thing. I travel back up to Largo to about an easy 30 minute drive. Same for diving Pennecamp or molasses reef area. Would fly in to Lauderdale or West Palm because MIA is horrible!

An excellent facility, above all quiet, and off the beaten path. Everyone was friendly and the daily cleaning service is the way a resort stay SHOULD be. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Very nice place and love how we could park under our room in a garage. The older man at the gate is the cutest, very welcoming. I wouldn’t say it’s luxury, more like 4.5 star. We only stayed one night. Hung out in the pool for a while and met some cool people. One of the pool bars had slow service but unsure if they were short staffed so hubs got a bucket of beer lol I would definitely stay again
