Always a pleasure to stay at WHotels around the world and Miami Beach was no exception. Beautiful rooms, nice hotel, great vibe and atmosphere, friendly and serviceminded staff both in the reception, by the pool and at breakfast. We will definitely stay at W Miami Beach again n ct time.

They were making some sort of renovartions or construction work during the week. Around 9 am, very loud drilling could be heard through the room and presumibly the hotel. Also, in the ninth floor, for two days they had loud ventilators as it they were drying the carpets... don´t know what was the deal with that.

We had been upgraded to the Fantastics Luxury Suite at 14th flloor ; Amazing place.
Employee are very cordial. Easy access to the beach. Every place are so clean. Really appreciate it !

We have been coming to W South Beach for the past 13 years and this is the first time that service by the pool was average (below). This property especially always excelled in providing an excellent service so it was disappointing. No attention was given when trying to get someone’s attention to get menus, place orders etc. To be faire, some servers were better than others but the overall experience was not being taken care of. And really, since the service charge is automatically added to the bill, why would they care how they treat the guests, right? We will not be coming back.

In my opinion, overall our room was not extremely clean. I noticed crumbs on the coffee table and they were still there after they cleaned our room for the day. So the table was not even simply wiped down. I thought the service across the property was just OK not great. No one explained the property to us when we checked in. We had to figure out the restaurants, times open and where to go. We were never told about the WiFi. Obviously I figured it out when I went on my phone. I expected much more across the board based on the hotel. However, the assistant manager of the hotel (I believe that was her title) was extremely nice.

I gotta say.. 5 times in the Miami south beach area and this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in. From the welcome to the departure. Friendly staff. Amazing rooms. Excellent service. Great food. Great drinks. Close to the beach.

Before my arrival the concierge was in touch with me to know what they can do for me, the reason for my stay etc. They were very sweet to me and upgraded my room without me asking for it. I got to check in much earlier, extra time for check out. When I returned from the beach, I saw champagne, bday dessert and chocolate in my room. No doubt I felt like a special person on a very important trip.
Everyone in hotel was really nice, friendly and professional. I definitely recommend staying in W South beach, especially to celebrate your important dates, as the way this hotel treats you is beyond your expectations!
