The best thing about this hotel is it's location. Location is perfect, and for the price it's a good choice, as it's relatively cheap, considering the location. But.... The hotel is old, outdated. Wifi in the room was bad, and after spending a few hours on the phone, trying to get a person instead of a virtual assistant, we gave up. Shower had little pressure. Rooms are outdated, mattress was too old, only one pillow a person, which was a hard high pillow, no coffee maker, and a regular small cup of coffee at Starbucks was $8.
The parking structure was too small, so one night after a day of visiting Grand Canyon, we drove around the parking structure fighting for a spot for a whole hour. My husband wanted to give up after 20 minutes, but the kids made it their mission to find us a spot, so we went with their enthusiasm and persevered...
Again, if not for the perfect location, across from Ceasar's Palace and Bellagio, I would give the hotel one star.

The Flamingo would be a five star place if they just did a deep clean. A little bleach in the bathroom would go a long way.
Have to say though for the price I paid the view was amazing, loved the kitschy touch’s. The spa was good.
All In all It is just dirty.
The elevator was fast but the sensor for the cards to go up was really touchy.

Our room was cleaned only once during our 3 night stay. It smelled like marijuana constantly. The wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom walls. Bathroom was not clean. Room was dusty and carpet not clean or vacuumed.

We decided to stay an extra day and booked with flamingo. We arrived to the hotel early, before 3pm and checked in around 2:30pm. We checked in via kiosk quick check in due to the long line at the check in desk. Once completed we made our way to the room, and upon entering there was this smell that carried into the room as well. We put our things down and left. Once we came back around 7pm I checked the closet and as I open it, tons of dust all over the floor in the closet. I checked the bathroom and again an off putting smell continued. Bathroom had hair on the floor and toilet had some yellow marks around the outside and of course I needed to use it so I wiped everything down as I usually do when I first come to any hotel. I then found hairs around the sink. I checked the bed and even just laying on it, mattress felt old as if it was used so often you sink in anywhere. I then saw how outdated everything in this room was, furniture dusty with scratches all over the place, it was then obvious this was their old rooms. I then picked up the phone to ask for another room and the phone it self had dust everywhere on the phone and bedside table. Gross. I went and stood in line 30 min to speak to someone who only for her to say I had to go through Expedia to get refund because I could either pay for an upgrade or wait for housekeeping to go check if the room is dirty and then come back to get another room. Ridiculous. It was too late already. I left, this place is disgusting.

Flamingo did not have our room type available for us when we checked in. Front desk advised they would not honor our booking because it was not booked directly with them. They did get us a room but a less expensive and older room, but only after pushing them to do the right thing and at least honor the king bed request.

the pool's area was under construction or closed, and the hotel didn't note on their website. They charged me $100 extra because I use self-checkout, may be self-checkout kiosk doesn't work? I am not sure why. The room was clear out at before 10:00 AM because we have to go to airport that morning.

Reserved a king room prepaid back in June. Arrived for stay in November and could not do kiosk check in, told to wait in huge line to check in at desk. Told no Kings available. Friend who checked in after us got their King reservation

Can't beat the price, and central strip location. But the "newly renovated room" had a a fair amount of wear and tear on the fixtures esp in the bathroom...and despite being out of the room most of the time, and not leaving a "do not disturb" tag on the door - our room got skipped over by the cleaners for a few days - even though we saw them on the floor every time we were there...and even asked to have the room cleaned.

Check in was chaotic. Virtual check in of course didn’t work. The upsell to a renovated room seemed sketchy. “Did you want an upgraded room? No? So you are okay with cat and dog hair and smells? And an old dirty room?” WHAT!? It sounded so horrible we had to upgrade out of fear. Our newly renovated room had issues too.. we said to each other if this was the upgrade I’d hate to see the other room. Sink faucets were weird if you turn them on(very difficult) the whole base turns also. The wall mounted shampoo and gel holders were missing though there was a conditioner and an empty lotion one next to the vanity. The shower glass was only on one side of shower leaving a large side where water escaped forcing us to mop the floor with towels after each use. Room itself was spacious, and clean, bed was comfortable and 10th floor was pretty quiet. No coffee in room was kind of a bummer.

First family holiday in Vegas. I’ve stayed here 4 times before but will not be staying again. At check in we were asked about housekeeping and we asked for service every day due to our son being in diapers. We only received two days of housekeeping, one three occasions were phoned and were told it would be done and it wasn’t. We were told the supervisor would come up, they didn’t…
Overall a very disappointing holiday and I will not be staying at the Flamingo ever again. It’s bad enough to not get the service but to be lied to is just awful. The only compensation we were offered was one nights resort fee refunded… $50…. Not close to what if should’ve been.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience.

We stayed three days at Luxor and three days at Flamingo. Luxor allowed us to check in early for free. It was very clean and quiet. When we checked in at Flamingo they offered early check in for way too much money. They told us we could check in early but we needed to upgrade the room to the “newly renovated room”. We agreed and paid the difference. Walked in the room and the smell of marijuana was so bad we had to request a clean out and left the door open for over an hour. The air didn’t work for the first 2 hours. We were placed in the corridor of the Linq Promenade (outside of our window). Well, needless to say, it was NOT worth the upgrade. The lack of sleep we received due to the music outside was the worst. It was so bad I had to call the front desk at 3:55am to ask when it would stop. I was told “it is an after hours nightclub. It should stop at 4am or 5am, I am not sure). This was the worst for us in Vegas. And to top that, the music starts back up again at 8am for the restaurant that is the nightclub after hours. I will NOT stay at the Flamingo again and I will NOT recommend it to anyone. If you do, make sure your room does not face the promenade. The only positive I will say is the bed was comfortable.

There is no heater as it is cold, only the air conditioner worked. One lap was falling apart and didn't even work and you couldn't turn it on. The lights were dim the TV is small. The refrigerator looks like someone had it in their dorm room for 10 years. There's an ottoman that's about 6 feet long, which is terribly worn and I almost fell through it because it is so old, the water took a long time to heat. Sheets were old and worn. On a positive note, towels, route, decent, and it had a safe, but no microwave and no in room coffee. The gym is very nice and bigger than most hotel gyms.
