Areas of large dark dark dark dirty deep stains on pull out couch for sleeping, chairs, lazy chairs, carpet. The outside ground is cleaner than inside carpet. Non smoking room had STRONG CIGARETTE SMELL. Horrible! No house keeping service after 3 pm. No room service.

The service was great; however, the property is going through renovations and it was noisy at times. The parking lot was full of construction materials. I had reserved a 2-bedroom suite, but due to renovations, was given 2 1-bedroom suites.

First of all, neither Hotels.com nor the hotel told us that the lobby and dining room were under renovation and check in and a grab and go breakfast area was set up in a small side room. We were expcted to bring our brerakfast back to our room where there was not 2 chairs that we could sit together in. The room was clean but the furniture was in poor condition. Chairs were ripped, fake leather torn. When we came back to our room in the evening, we discovered that there was one remote which did not work with with either TV. It took us two requests to have them replaced the next morning. The trash outside was overflowing and was being eaten by oposssums which was scaring the kids. It took us two requests to have the outside trash emptied. The following day, the trash was in the same condition even though I spoke to Lisa, the manager. When we were checking ou we went to the makeshift lobby to break a $20 bill so that we could leave a tip for the maid. ( Our perspective is that, no matter what the condition of property, the maids do not make a lot of money and they clean up after us). We were told that they normally do not give change but that they would make a 1 time exception. When we explained that we were trying to leave a tip, they were surprised. Never again.

Remodeling during our stay done the right way, clean and quiet. Great place to stay and the best part DOG friendly..highly recommend....

The breakfast area and gym are closed for renovations. Breakfast has been temporarily set up around the front desk, but it’s not what was shown in the pictures. We were disappointed… If the breakfast area and gym are under renovation, I think that should be mentioned. The room and kitchen were spacious and comfortable to stay in.

First room we received the bed wasn’t made and it had a really terrible odour. I requested another room and was moved. The room was nicer but had obviously just had the carpet shampooed and was still damp under foot. Room may have been refurbished and was much better than first room. Still not like photos, location for Redondo beach and airport was what we needed and hotel satisfied this. Hotel was very quiet which was also good.

Stay anywhere but here. There was no lobby due to construction so we had to enter in a sketchy side door- and worse than that, no elevators present anywhere on the property. I had to lug my 50lb suitcase upstairs injuring my shoulder and tearing my suitcase. The curtains were torn. There were stains in the furniture. I took pictures. It looked like an old, dirty apartment complex with run down furniture. I will never stay at a Sonesta property again if this is their standard.

Very clean and quiet. Really convenient. Close to malls and restaurant. Secured area. Only concern is not much selection of breakfast.

Gave us a room first that was wet and smelled like mildew and the second room they gave us had dirty clothes in the drawers in the bathroom and had a couch that was all cut up, they were also very rude to us when we tried to get back to our room to get something that was left in there

Liked how convenient everything was parking on site and stores for shipping groceries department stores food restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room needs some deep cleaning at least it wasnt filthy

Place has gone downhill. Hopefully the remodel helps. I feel I over paid for a dirty, falling apart room… filthy carpets, ripped and torn couch and curtains. Bed was as hard as a brick… but the staff was great.

Safe location, with a nice pool and lobby. The room was not clean, especially the shower. The gym floor was not safe to work on, it was not a traditional gym floor with was very slippery. Any sweat on that floor and you'd fall.

Safe location, with a nice pool and lobby. The room was not clean, especially the shower. The gym floor was not safe to work on, it was not a traditional gym floor with was very slippery. Any sweat on that floor and you'd fall.

Everything was great from a peaceful and clean place to a very good service at the front desk. Great job !!! Keep it up.
