While checking in, two ladies in front of us were complaining about smell and requesting a new room. Our room also smelled. The hotel has old carpets that give off the old cigarette smoke smell. One of two elevators was out of service, causing delays, especially in the morning. The coffee machine at breakfast did not work. Overall, the room was clean and neat, the beds very comfortable. They just need to figure out the smell problem.

Excellent spot of choice, comfortable space affordable prices, and they include a delicious breakfast. I will definitely visit again.

The facility is an ideal location to DC and the major highways around the area. Parking is free with plenty of space and lights. Beds are surprisingly comfortable. Nice breakfast selection. I will return to stay at this affordable option.

This is the place to stay if you’re looking for a no frills place near one of the outlying metro stations. Not fancy, but an easy 15-20 minute walk to the Van Dorn metro station on the blue line. Access to the city without having to drive all the way in. Great food options just up the road as well. Walkable or drivable (about 1 mile, 15-20ish minutes by foot). Breakfast was offered daily and was okay. Standard hotel eggs, meat, and waffles set up. Only one working elevator through end of 2024 and maybe into 2025. Shower was not great. My only real complaint.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this hotel a rating of 6. I hate to do that because it should be an 8. We had a great stay and they did everything right except the shower water pressure is extremely low (at least in our room). Each day (we stayed there 4 days) we asked if it could be fixed and we were told they were working on it and it would be fixed by the next day. I guess we were just getting the run around because nothing changed. I hate to say we wished we would have stayed somewhere else because they did everything else so wonderfully (especially the breakfast) but showers are pretty important and my family made fun of me for picking a lame hotel as a result of the water pressure. If I could rate this hotel without including low water pressure issue, again it would have been an 8 (and water pressure would have been a 2).

Paint is just peeling away from the walls all over the room, microwave was broken, and the bathroom door had absorbed so much water that the bottom is swollen and cracking and cannot close. Also incredibly loud. 95 and Van Dorn noises all night, you can hear every door in the corridor close all night, and the ceilings are SO thin that people walking can keep you up. Housekeeping vacuuming the room above mine was nearly as loud as if they were in the room with me. Very small room as well which was ok for a single but would have been uncomfortable with 2 people.

The location is good, but rest is average or below average. The elevator issue is the biggest problem. Waiting time 8 minutes at morning. The room is good, but why is curtains can' t cover a whole window? Sleep ing with a light from the street is not best expirence!!

I stayed at the hotel for one night on a business trip. I liked the hotel for its simplicity and the quality of service. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions I had. The breakfast is great. I would stay in the hotel for a second time.

We stayed for a night. They had one working elevator. We were on the 7th floor. They had one working elevator for the entire building. So going up or down required standing in a line and then stopping on each floor. As far as the room goes: every time we flushed, the water would leak from the bottom of the toilet and flood the bathroom floor. Yup. We left.

Breakfast is terrible, fake egg , bacon.

The place was quiet. The bathroom is a bit small but everything else is awesome.

PROS: The room was decent, a tad small. Room was clean. Staff was nice! IT WAS QUIET!!! No doors slamming all night nor loud talking in hallway nor traffic noise!!! CON: Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working.
