Stayed at the height of lockdown so couldn't really take in the sights and sounds of Cognac. Literally only allowed in the room and that included eating and drinking. However, we were greeted so well and extremely well looked after with food and drink being delivered to the room

The room was filled with a very large bed for French standard AND an additional single bed, leaving no space to move around.
Oddly, there were also two chairs under the desk, taking further space.
The mattress was too soft; so much so that you could slide in the middle.
Bathroom was clean, but again, tired. Very weak water pressure.

This hotel is a good value. The room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast. The thermostat didn’t work which could be very hot in the summer.

Central to the town and convenient. The hotel is a little dated and needs refurbishing. However it is clean and the staff were very friendly. Parking is extra which always urks me when you are paying for a room already but at least the WiFi was free.

Excellent hotel located in the centre of town within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the river. The staff were polite and helpful and had no problem with our dog.There is a small secure car park at the back of the hotel although there is also a free public car park over the road.
