My family and I have stayed here in the past and it was fantastic. This time, not so much. While checking in the card maker wasn't working, once it worked I was given a few snacks as a "sorry" for the delay. Once we went up to our room and found out that someone was already in that room! Luckily, the door never opened, but still, awkward, let me tell you! I ran back down to get another room assigned to us and kind of expected for an upgrade or something for the mess up. Just a "we're sorry that happened" and that was it. Pretty disappointing. Dont let this, discourage you from staying here, it was a very nice hotel and the staff was very nice. It just seemed like everyone was off the track and were struggling to get back on track.

First let me start off by staying, the two employees working the front desk the evening I checked in were by far two of the best individuals I have ever worked with when checking into a hotel, and I stay in a lot of hotels. They were just great!

PROS - Hotel is spacious and room layouts are great. Really love the option of having the bed separated from the living room with a pull out sofa bed and mini bar area with a fridge and sink. 2 TV's for each room. The free breakfast was better than average with a made to order omelet section. Lots of seating in the common areas and restaurant attached to hotel for easy lunches or dinner options. CONS - Hotel is older and shows in some areas, the grout around the tile in the pool needs redoing. The ceilings have popcorn on them, the windows are single pane and with the freeway being close by it is easy to hear cars passing by or people speaking outside. The pull out sofa bed mattress is very thin and springs can be felt just with a surface touch. No Smart TV's in the bedrooms, no option to stream movie apps or plug in steaming devices due to lower internet speeds.

Excellent ! It was a beautiful hotel, great amenities, convenient location, great parking, and the waterfall on the first floor was a relaxing touch !
