Hotel has a great location. Rooms are outdated. They tried to update, but did a poor job.

Will NEVER stay here again. 2 nice people in the place. One checked me in and the other was the person running the breakfast. Otherwise rude. LOCATION: quite a few homeless walking next and through the hotel parking lot. At 75 and alone I didn't feel safe outside. They have a few signs but no one seems to really care. ROOM: 403 Don't let me put you in there until they put in a new bed and fix the floor. Smelled and floor uneven on way to bathroom. BED: WORST I HAVE EVER HAD and I travel very frequently staying in a variety of hotel rooms. It had so many lumps, (thinking springs) that I got about an hour of sleep THEN I sat up in a chair. LINENS: Sheets were great !!!! Otherwise would have received only 1 star. Bedcovering, old and needs to be replaced. Pillows were OK ! BREAKFAST: Standard free breakfast available. It had a variety and staffed by one nice lady. Serve yourself style and food was good! PARKING: Hotel was not full so had decent parking ! But if busy not sure where they would have you park. OLD AND TIRED HOTEL !!! I would never recomend.

Staff was very friendly - the breakfast crew was very hard-working and attentive to people coming in to eat.

The hotel itself was fine. It probably needs updating but the location cant be beat and the staff was amazing. I haven't experienced such great customer service un quite sometime!!

Very clean room. Restaurant was not open. Staff shortage. Inconvenient. It was evening when we checked in. We walked across the street to Craven , a restaurant in another hotel to eat. Small parking area for us to park.

Staff made us feel like a burden except the breakfast attendant. She welcomed us as her guests. The floor boards in our room were horribly loud, wasn’t sure if we were going to fall through. Coffee and plastic cups looked like that hadn’t been used in quite awhile so should be thrown out. The location of the hotel was great due to closeness of the falls and great walking areas. Glad we only stayed one night.

The hotel was good some updates going on. The location was excellent. The only negative was the bar restaurant was not really ready for business

The check in woman Trisha was helpful and friendly and did her job well!

It was old, dirty carpet everywhere, checkin staff was rude! Only plus was the Restaurant onsite with friendly staff.

The property is a bit run down. The elevator is slow and tiny, the stairway carpet had a lot of stains and the walls were dirty. The pool area was clean but the pool was not; there were white things floating in the water. Our room was clean but very noisy. You could hear the people upstairs walking around and there was a lot of noise from the hallways. You could also pick up all the noise from the street the street. There was a train horn blaring periodically. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in the room. If you’re a light sleeper, then this might not be the best hotel for you.

Average to poor hotel. Carpets were dirty, extremely small sink area for 2 people, beds were horribly uncomfortable, pool bottom looked like it needed scrubbed, whole inside from walls to carpet needed an upgrade.

The excellent location belies the poor condition of the hotel. It needs renovation to upgrade the carpeting and rooms. The toilet in our room did not work despite use of a plunger twice. The staff was not very pleasant.

The rooms were clean and nice enough but it was so noisy at night from hearing people walking above to loud doors in the hall that my sleep was very poor.

Facilities are rather run down but suited our needs for a one night stay. Rooms were pretty standard. Common areas need updating. Staff was very nice.

Stayed on the third floor and could hear the people above us walking around. Staff was great. Small parking lot but did have overflow parking.

We had made reservations for 4 nights for our grandsons wedding in Sioux Falls.i looked up the reviews the night before we left and read that it stunk like sewer and wet dog at times. Our room did stink like sewer and our toilet would flush on its own. The morning we left two workers opened our room door and said oh so sorry. We did Not know this room would be rented. They said they were working on the plumbing and had to make a lot of noise cutting off part of the wall to get to the pipes to fix the flushing toilet and the smell. We had not complained so it must have been from previous visitors. I am wondering why they would rent that room for 4 nights when the knew it had a problem and that they would be that early Monday morning to work on it.
