I paid approximately $700 for two rooms for one night. Water damage in both rooms on walls. Bathrooms were old and dirty. Rooms and carpets were filthy. The only positive to the hotel was the pool.

We had a great stay. Only negative things I would say is the dinner room staff are very slow and don’t respond to the customer much. Also during check out. I was given a bill for parking which I was not told about till it was time to pay the bill.

Beautiful property right on the waterfront , staff are wonderful, restaurants are great. 10 out of 10

Easy to find and park - great watching a cruise ship berth from bedroom window.

Carpets in hallways on room floor 2 needs to be replaced due to stains and also smell in hallway when getting off elevator. Pool was great, checkin and checkout was good. Breakfast included was good, nice breakfast and great waitress.

Clean and quiet. The kids enjoyed the pool with the waterslide.

Great view of the water, friendly staff, good breakfast and a great fitness center that over looks the water. There’s a nice pool with a water slide. We were there on a Saturday and there were a ton of kids enjoying the slide.

This holiday inn is starting to show its age and needs a renovation as we were on third floor elevator aea had some wallpaper done and you can clearly see old wallpaper under new wallpaper does not look good. Room bathroom needs reno and venting to keep moisture down. We decided to book an extra night and thats when front desk staff messed up our booking and had to come back from enjoying visit to louisburg fort to straighten things out. Went to room to find bathroom was not fully cleaned and no towels were stocked. Finally spoke to hotel manager who gave towels after showing pics of problems with room. Pool area has no lifeguard and very loud as kids are screaming while using water slide while multiple children sliding down slide 3 and 4 at a time. Hot tub stopped working after a while. We liked the bay window and the view on the harbour. Very good location. The hotel needs some major repairs. Rooms, lobby and even the parking needs renovations.

Great location close to restaurants and pubs. Only bad thing is the bar in the hotel and pubs in the area all say they close at or after midnight but in fact close around 10p… if you’re looking for a bit of nightlife I’d stay somewhere else, but otherwise it was great!
