We went as a big group. I’ll was the first one there and got my room. I went down and told the woman at the desk that my air was not working. What can we do about it and she got smart with me and told me nothing at first and then finally she was like well, I guess I can see if I have another room available. She was very disrespecting and then we went down the next morning to get breakfast and we were in there for over an hour, almost fourty-five minutes to get our drink order, I’m sorry but what kind of service is that? I work in fast food restaurant so I understand business but that was just nonsense and then when I got my food, it was gross so very disappointed and honestly, it was money I could’ve saved and got another room somewhere else, but when I ask to be refunded was told no

This hotel was kinda run down, pool wasn’t open, outside around perimeter was dirty. The room was ok older furniture but bed was comfortable. The ac didn’t work real well so I went and bought a fan which helped for 2nd night. My biggest issue was the lady at breakfast she was NOT friendly and was not available for long periods of time. We finally had to go to front desk to pay for the extra breakfast items we ordered. They have a cook to order which we liked but you got limited items, so we ordered off menu but after 20-25 min of waiting to pay we finally went to front desk. I’ve stayed at this hotel before but it has changed a lot and would not return again. It’s ok for one night stay but past that I would look elsewhere. Lady at desk said they won’t be econolodge or with Choice Hotels so not looking like things gonna get better. Also was shocked that the front desk person also mixes alcoholic beverages that are for sale at front desk. Found that odd.

This was an older motel and it looks it. When I pulled in to the parking lot I thought I might be in the wrong place. Looks like it's under significant renovation. However, after checking in, I told my wife that I thought the desk clerk was probably the friendliest hotel employee I've ever encountered. The inside of the room was strikingly different than the outside. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn't really high end, but it was very clean and very comfortable. We walked across the street to a pretty good seafood restaurant.

All the photos that were shown on Expedia's web site for this motel do not show what the property really looks like. If you really want to see what this place looks like let me know, I'll send you photos that I took. I had to use my shoulder to open the room door, same to close it. A quarter to a half inch gap at the bottom of the door. The door hinges were rusty. The room smelled very bad (we went out a bough air freshener and cleaning supplies to wash several areas to fell somewhat better about staying in the room. The whole room has not been updated for I can't even think how long. NOW, let's talk about the air conditioner, IT WAS SO LOUD. I tried to turn it off (the button worked to turn off the display, but not the air conditioner) the air conditioner was hard wire and did not turn off. AT 1:30 AM, I went into the front office and told the young man on duty to get someone to unplug the air conditioner (he was the only reason I gave an average rating for employees) he turned it off and brought a fan. This place is two stories, ONLY the first floor was used, all second-floor rooms were empty. One room that was two doors down from me held about 15 guts from other air conditioners just setting on the floor. The parking lot was terrible, dirty, trashy and had potholes, broken concrete. I need more space to go on. NEED A REFUND.

Breakfast lady was very rude and there were 3 cockroaches in our room we had to flush down the toilet yes they were alive it was disgusting. The pool area was beautiful though.
