Beautiful location close to lake and restaurants/shops along the lake... 5 min drive.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and the service was friendly. No fault of the hotels because I understand that ovens need to get cleaned at in the middle of the night is the best time to do that but when I woke uo hungry in the middle of the night, I was a little disappointed that I couldnt get a pizza from the lobby. I do totally underatand though! I have zero complaints with my stay. It was wonderful.

This property was fine for staying until the alarms went off at 130am. I understand that but when I asked about it in the morning, the manager said it was an issue with the alarms going off randomly! What? And I wasn’t aware prior? And you did nothing to make me feel better? Had 2 nights booked and checked out after one. No empathy for the guests. On a holiday weekend besides.

They were not stacked for breakfast, no milk for coffee or cereal, few choices for the toaster, no fruit. The place is clean and comfortable.

This is a favorite stop to stay when we make this route. Right next to a gas station is handy to set off in the morning! Pool is cool water, but not freezing. Hot tub is a good size, my granddaughter loved to 'swim'.

The one bedroom was great. Room was clean and spacious. Desk staff on check in was good, made it easy.
We misread the breakfast hours and were literally told to leave the dining room as we had not finished eating when the breakfast time was over. Seemed a bit harsh. Other than that our stay was pleasant.

Nice location, shower pressure was awesome, beds were comfortable. My husband said breakfast was okay. One thing I noticed was you can hear the people on the upper level dropping things early in the morning.

Decent hotel. Remodeling updates but they missed some details (toilet paper holder is loose on wall; flickering light bulb). Bed was comfortable. Please get better egg product for your breakfast.

Couldn’t bring any food or beverage into pool area. I understand the food, but not being able to sit and have a drink or beer after being in the hot sun was very disappointing. Also they had a sign on the pool door that said they would charge your room 200.00 if you were caught with a beverage in the pool area.
The breakfast was also not good at all. The eggs were awful.
Our fridge in our room wasn’t working and when I called down to the front desk they said they didn’t know what they could do about it.
We paid over 500.00 for the weekend and were extremely disappointed.

The pool and hot tub in perfect working condition. The whirlpool in room also in great working order. Breakfast on China instead of paper/plastic very appreciated.

I lost my wallet in the parking lot. Very unsettling. It was turned in to the front desk by one of the employees with all the cash in it. Wow! So blessed to know there good people there! Saved a great weekend in Detroit Lakes. All the staff were top notch courteous, efficient and professional!
