This is my second stay here because it was so good the first time.

Room was great, spacious. The bathroom was modern, but for the price we paid expected things to be perfect. Unfortunately, it was looking a bit dated and tired, especially the pine door. Also the grouting around the bath looked shabby and poorly done. These things need updating and freshening up. We did have a problem with getting the shower to work next morning, so unable to shower. We were pushed for time, so decided not to ask for assistance and went straight for breakfast. We mentioned on check out and it was dealt with to our satisfaction. Breakfast was self service, except for tea/coffee, plenty of choice of hot and cold items and was nicely cooked. Tip for the hotel, get rid of the old dated telephones in the rooms. Not in keeping with the decor!!

Allowed to check in paper work even though we arrived at 10.30am. Left the luggage. Went out and did some shopping cam back around 12.30pm. Got our room key and put all our shopping in the room and went out again. Check out very quick this morning

I found the shower unit too complex to use and the hot water was not hot enough. But the bed was very comfy, and the room was a very good size.

Great stay check in really swift room fab clean the room we vooked also gave us access to the club room. Which allowed you to have tea coffee soft drinks snacks anytime. Between 5-7 you could have a good selection of alcoholic drinks and hot snacks which was a nice surprise

First impressions when I walked in were good - huge lobby, smart and polite greeter at the door, friendly check-in (check-in was very quick).
However, i had paid extra for a room upgrade to executive level and when i arrived at the room, struggled to see what that extra money actually paid for?
Room was ok...but no different to a standard Holiday Inn room. Ive had bigger rooms in a Premier Inn to be honest.
Bathroom had started to look a little dated/in need of uplift.
The only difference i could see for my extra money, was that I got 2 free cans of coke and a kit-kat.
However, i did get entrance to their "special lounge" in the lobby which had free drinks and some buffet food. But didnt really use that, as it was always very busy and noisy when i tried it - prefered the quiet & space of the standard lounge.
Also, after a long trip, i wanted to use the pool and hot tub, but it was full of kids both times i tried. Shame, it looked nice.
I probably wouldnt visit again, would try somewhere cheaper/more value for money.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, one of the reasons I chosen to stay there is because the hotel had EV chargers
To my disappointment these chargers were out of order and we only find out on our second day so this was pretty disastrous as my battery was super low and had to sacrifice the rest of our Saturday stay looking for a working charger near by and to make it even worse non of the chargers near by were working so we had to get emergency charging and ruined our Saturday got home nearly at midnight shattered
In this day and age these chargers should be functioning at all times, very very disappointing. Thanks

The service was ultra lardant. When we arrived our luggage was taken to our room by a delightfully friendly gentleman who continued to be super helpful throughout our stay . We had use of the lounge which provided everything that we needed

Had a fantastic stay. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Room was great with a river view. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We used the pool and felt it was a little tired but clean non the less. It certainly didn't spoil our stay. Great location for shopping and eating out

The only quibble I would make would be queuing for 20 mins to check in. I would suggest that one of the managers might be made available at busy times to avoid guests having to stand and wait as their first experience of the hotel was less than ideal. This is not in anyway a criticism of the reception staff who were doing their best and very charming. Booking to use the pool rather takes away any spontaneous ideas of a swim something we had planned to do when booking. In all though a lovely hotel in a great location, beautifully clean, lovely rooms and friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

Was upgraded on visit. We had a one year old and everyone was so lovely. Brad in front of house helped loads. The staff at the swimming pool were lovely. Everyone super helpful
