This hotel looks nothing like the website. I know that isn’t unusual, but not even close. The pool was disgusting and run down. There was dirt and dust all over the floors, including dead bugs. The breakfast was only okay. The breakfast staff was the only positive part—she was very sweet! I would not stay here again.

For me, its all about the bedding! And sleeping in your bed was like being wrapped in a cloud! I loved it! The rooms were amazing! Your housekeeping staff deserve a raise! The only thing we didnt like was the pool, it was cold and cloudy. Otherwise it was great

We liked the Monroe IHG motel because of the great breakfast, the size of the room and bathroom, nice firm bed and general cleanliness. We liked the furnishings and the large counter in the bathroom. We really liked that the bathroom was big enough for two and had a big mirror with plenty of light. We would probably stay there again. There were a couple downsides. When we arrived at 10 pm there was a strong smell of chlorine in the reception and breakfast areas. Thank goodness the smell didn't reach 3rd floor hallway or room. The chlorine smell was also gone when we went to breakfast the next morning. The motel also had a couple problems with plumbing. I tried to use a bathroom on the first floor by the elevator and the previous person hadn't been able to flush the toilet. The handle wouldn't turn far enough to enable the flush. I took the top off the tank and was able to pull up on the chain and flush it. The tank, however, filled very slowly. In our room, the toilet tank also filled slowly and didn't fill at all if someone was taking a shower. Also, while the showerhead was nice and the bottom of the tub felt safe, the tub didn't drain fast enough -- there were 2-3 inches of water in the tub by the end of your shower.

No towels in room. Had to wait 4 hours for towels. Bathtub was broke. The room looked like it hadn’t been dusted in months. Hair in the bathtub

I wish that there were a section for housekeeping specifically. My family of 6 arrived around 10pm to check into the 3 bed king suite. The front desk woman gave us our keys to head on up and found an extremely trashed room. She offered us a smaller room but we were unable to fit in that room for the night, hence the reason I booked the 3 bed suite. She was the only worker in the building to my knowledge and promptly went up and spent over an hour cleaning the room so that we could have a clean room that evening. The ladies who worked that evening were amazing but extremely disappointed with how the beginning of our stay started. Breakfast was pretty good the next morning with many options to choose from. I am hoping that there will be some type of compensation back for the inconvenience but I guess we will see what happens.

Cons: Our room appeared as though someone had been called out while cleaning it and never returned to finish. The trash can was on the sink, there was a cleaning rag left there too. There was not a single bath towel, hand towel, or wash cloth in sight. We called down to ask for towels and such, and instead of bringing some up to our room, we had to go down to the front desk and get them. Then, there was a giant cobweb stringing probably 8 ft across the bedroom! Pluses: it was spacious and comfortable. We were able to her three beds for the 5 of us which is super rare. We had a great time - everyone at the hotel was very nice and courteous. Really appreciate how well lit the inside and outside was . Amazing breakfast and we made sure we complemented the staff. Nice pool experience each day. The town impressed us also, along with the large selection restaurants. We will be back. 😊

The light switches in our room were all sticky, the bathroom walls were dirty.

I b ooked a room thru expedia, when I arrived I was told the hotel was overbooked and I should not have been able to purchase the room online, expedia contacted the hotle and both are refusing to refund my money

Front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

The lady in the morning. Who set up the food. She was excellent. So nice. And made sure everything was fresh and stocked.

Slept horribly tried to get more pillows the first night no answer at front desk. Second night I did get pillows but didn't help children running back and forth all night of the hours above our room didn't get any rest will not stay again
