The bathroom door smashed and cut my finger when I tried to close it because there wasn’t a stop on it. That was my only issue.

Beds are terrible, AC in the room was not blowing cold at all and smelt of mildew. Pillows were dirty. Told the front desk about the AC and was told they have been getting run hard the whole summer and that it is what it is. He also said the mildew smell has been happening for the last couple weeks and they were in the process of fixing it. Did not offer us a different room, told us all the rooms were like that.
“Blackout” curtains did not work at all. Our room had bright light from the sign shining in the room the whole night.
The “door” for the bathroom is a sliding barn door that you can not lock. The crack is big enough for someone to see you changing or sitting on the toilet. This room was newly remodeled and it was straight crap.
We were traveling just for the night, this was hotel 4/4 for our trip and it was by far the worst. I will never stay at a Hampton Hotel again.
