Nice and clean and comfortable but just missing the little details- booking said bath/shower combination but there were no taps to fill the bath; just a shower head. Struggled to fill the kettle with the sink so small and TV unpredictable.

Last time we stayed in Mackay, these guys looked after us so when we knew we were going to be staying in Mackay again, we had no hesitation in booking our room at the Windmill Motel again

After driving all day, being able to just walk into the restaurant for dinner was very convenient. Food was great.
Nice to have a bathroom with somewhere to put your clothes also.

Big room with Queen bed & 3 singles - comfy beds. Very clean, block out curtains. We slept very well. The restaurant was so good, we arrived tired & thought we would have to get takeout but ate in the bar/restaurant and it was high quality fantastic food very impressed. Highly recommend.

Breakfast room service was great and incredible portion sizes.
Well worth the price.
A real shame that it is shut on a Sunday.
House keeping were asked to come back as my partner was getting changed.
That did not come back that day, nor the next.

We stayed twice on our last trip, once on the way up and again on the way back. Our King Studio Room was comfortable and spacious with the King bed, table for 2 and 2 lounge chairs which were very much appreciated after travelling most of the day. Dinner in the restaurant was a highlight with exceptional food served both days. We will definitely return!

A nice quiet area of Mackay. We had a family room with lots of room for all of us. Room was very spacious. Bathroom was equal spacious as well. Bed and pillows was comfortable. Definitely be staying here again.
