This hotel did not appear to us to merit a 4 star rating. It is in an excellent situation on the Gran Via. Our check in was extremely disorganised with staff insisting we had booked for three people. An extra bed had been made up in our room and we were told we were paying for 3 breakfasts! Our info from hotels.com clearly stated 2 pax. The room was basic and of travel lodge standard. On first look it seemed clean but the bin beside the toilet had a lid that had been ‘splashed’ and was not cleaned. Shower grouting was grubby on outside. There was no bathroom - a toilet cubicle (no wash basin beside toilet) and shower and basin were in the room. There was no evening turndown service. Towel supply limited. Breakfast was of poor quality although plentiful. Staff were clearly overstretched. When tables were cleared after use, unused cups and cutlery were left on the table for the next customer! On 2 occasions we were addressed rudely by staff.
We love Madrid but we were delighted to leave this hotel.

Clean, spacious room. We had a room that faced the courtyard to avoid noise from the street in Gran Via. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Lounge and rooftop were highlights!

During our stay in Madrid, the service at the hotel exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful, especially Cesar, who was always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were spotless and comfortable, but what truly made our experience memorable was the team, who made us feel right at home. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the city!

They stolen a very expensive pair of sun glasses from my room, unfortunately no one took responsibility. I contacted them they and they assured me they had found the glasses and when I when to pick them up it was an empty case that wasn’t even from the glasses. Pls be aware with your personal belongings if you stay there.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to shopping and a short walk to all the main attractions. They offered a free minibar and complimentary welcome drinks upon arrival, which was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcomed. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, and the service was excellent throughout our stay.
The room and facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Would stay here again and recommend to others. It’s very easy to navigate to/from the hotel. It was clean, the staff was welcoming and efficient. My husband is 6-6 so I have to find hotels that offer king beds and this one does. They also offer “free” stocked mini bars waters, juice) which is such a nice touch.

Only gripe is curtains could have done with a dusting or clean as every time I shut or opened them dust would fall into my eyes
