As always the room, the hotel, the window displays, the food, the service especially the valet, were all perfect. Last time I was given a top floor suite and there was a low hum from the HVAC on the roof so if you’re as noise neurotic as I am, go below the top floors. But that’s just me. Otherwise still my favorite hotel in America, and relatively inexpensive. Love this place.

The first time we stayed there, we were in a culture shock. But, it has been one of the best places we have ever stayed. The beds are comfortable, the size of the room is amazing. Only the shower is built for one. But, we have had problems with water pressure in other places, but not here. We love staying here.

Great hotel and we secured a very good rate ! We usually stay at the U of U Marriott but the hotel is tired and always being worked on. Filthy windows and they try to charge for parking - which is sometimes horrible.
Grand America is one of the best places to stay.

Beautiful room, great food at the Laurel and at the bar for Happy Hour, excellent pool and hot tub, courteous staff who go the extra mile. Overall great staycation!

Our entire stay was exceptional. Valet, restaurant dining & in-room dining were excellent. The staff was wonderful & accomodating. Highly recommend when in SLC!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. Very convenient location in central SLC. The parking was a bit tricky but worked out ok. There is a lot under the hotel. The restaurant was ok but a little disappointing. We were hoping for better than standard fare. The room and grounds were exceptional.

This hotel is clearly an institution in Salt Lake City and it is impressive. The building is huge and the decor very old school - in a charming way.
We upgraded to a suite for $40 and it was huge, even offering a balcony overlooking the pool.
Being in a Mormon environment was quirky - the most well-stocked mini bar without any alcohol:
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very opulent. In our road trip this is the only hotel that still had individual toiletries rather than shared bottles. It felt a little too old school.
There were some good dining options but we took advantage of room service which was fine. Nothing to write home about. There is a bar where you can buy cocktails but it was tough to find in the behemoth of a building.
Would we stay here again? Probably not. But that’s not because it wasn’t nice, it was just a little too old school for me.

When I first checked in, I was given my room number and proximity key. When I went to the room, it was occupied. Turned out I was given the wrong room. It was corrected immediately.

Well maintained. Helpful staff. Lots of amenities. I wished they had a few more basic things like refrigerator and microwave in the room. But the positives far outweigh what was lacking.

This was definitely a hotel that the inside was just as beautiful as the outside. The moment we arrived we were in awe and the doors were opened for us and offered to assist with our luggage. Checking in was smooth and the ambiance was just breathtaking. The room was to our liking with an amazing view and good lighting. The restaurant had amazing food esp with those amazing happy hour prices haha. Overall it was just a wonderful experience and the staff was amazing from bell hop to the front desk to the house keepers to the restaurant, just everyone was truly genuine and nice. Will be back soon

The hotel is beautiful, elegant and classy. We enjoyed the pianist and the harpist playing in the lobby bar. The restaurant onsite was wonderful. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony with views of the mountains. The staff was so attentive and nice. We enjoyed every minute of iur stay.
