Great location for exploring Bergen and its waterfront. Friendly staff, no hassle luggage storage, and very good breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance to much that Bergen offers to visitors.

Excellent location, quiet rooms. There is a bar and restaurant on site, however neither were open on the Wednesday night that we stayed. Lots of disappointed, weary travelers! None of the staff members could explain why they were closed. The breakfast spread is very good, but didn't open until 7am. Too late when trying to get to the airport! If available, I would recommend staying at Scandic Byparken. Much better atmosphere, great staff and great location!

Gym machines need repair and / or replacement. Bed very creaky. Breakfast was nice. Overall not to the standards that you associate with Scandic.

This was a beautiful hotel to stay in, located close to several forms of transport and a short walk from major attractions like Bryggen and Bergen Fortress. The room felt quite luxurious - VERY spacious and comfortable - and the breakfast buffet included in the price was full of delicious options.

We arrived quite late in the evening and the friendly receptionist explained that due to the hotel being quite full we were being upgraded to a suite, which was excellent. The suite was clean and comfortable with a fantastic large bathroom. It was very warm, the air conditioning didn’t seem to be doing anything. The balcony gave a great view over Bergen. Breakfast was good, though busy! Would stay again.

We booked 3 rooms for family. Good Breakfast. Decent but basic rooms. Some have bathroom doors, some don't.
The room was cleaned well but there was a dirty mug left by the lift for the 3 days we stayed and the roadside entrance was where smokers congregated so was dirty with leftover butts.

Well located with nice rooms and a great included breakfast. Very close to the waterfront fish market, Bryggen etc. Moderate walk to central station, less than 10 minute walk to airport tram. Good value hotel.
