Excellent location. Had issues with the shower, had a licking and water was around the entire bathroom on the 6 days I was there.

So, I booked a room for four people (which was an option). When we arrived, we were informed that the Hotel does not accommodate four people, even though it was an option on Expedia and it was the only reason why we chose this hotel in the first place.
The receptionist said not to worry because he would solve the issue for us.
He placed us in two separate rooms. However, the next day, as we were checking out, they charged us extra for the second room in cash.
If this is not false advertisement, I do not what is. I will not stay here again.

Great customer service and close to everything. Food, mall and pharmacy all within walking distance. Absolutely loved how attentive this hotel staff were. They were and always were there to help with anything you requested and after meeting the owners I was pleased to know how great they are as well.

Nice small hotel in the area. There are a few nightlife bar restaurant spots on nearby corners and the music may annoy you if you prefer a very quiet location. Loud music until about 2am especially on weekends.

I have stayed at the Hotel Oxford a few times and I am amazed how great my stay is every time. The hotel staff is the best I've ever interacted with in all my travels. They are extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. Each time I have arrived, the staff brings a glass juice to welcome me. If there is an issue, they take care of it right away. The staff always has a smile on their face and are friendly. Nearby are plenty of places to eat, drink, or shop. The hotel is clean, looks good, and their food is good. I highly highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Barranquilla.I look forward to returning later in the year.

I would highly recommend staying at the Oxford hotel if you are in Barranquilla. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the breakfast is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The hotel is centrally located with restaurants and bars close by.
