The room was very clean and had loads of space (junior suite). The staff were very friendly and always greeted me in the morning with a hello and a big smile. The only issue I had was that the fridge was broken and did now get fixed. I had a great stay and will definitely return.

It is located inside the old town, easy to walk to all town’s attractions.
It is accessible by car, but driving within the area is quite tricky. After some effort, we ended up in front of the hotel instead of the public parking, which is located at the back of the hotel.
Quirky, and pleasantly decorated, we enjoyed everything - our Deluxe Double Room with excellent bed and bathroom, the very good breakfast served in a nice area, and most of all, the excellent, friendly service.

Here we go:
First off a WARNING: Do not stay there on THURS; FRI:SAT nights. Reason: There are 4 major nightclubs next door which are noisy with music and drunk people. You will not get a nights sleep. The Clue? The have ear plugs in the room.
Second: the building is bland, nothing special. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and small. The pillows are horrible. In the room there is no table or anythig so you can have something to eat and not eat on bed.
Also: The front of the hotel is not accessible by car or taxi etc. So if you have trouble walking too bad for you.
There is zero ambiance.
Breakfast, for which I paid 25 euro's or so is very very very plain. Usually the kind of breakfast you get for free. They also do not clean the tables or bus them in a timely manner. It really is a rip off. Save the 25 and go somewhere else to have breakfast. For that many they should have had fried eggs or somethng like that, but just hard boiled eggs. Milk is UHT and not cold. . Actually nothing is refrigerated, not even the milk; juices or yoghurt. Luke warm.
So it is not worth it at all. Avoid. You can do much much better for the price.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Fabulous customer service. Very clean rooms and breakfast area. Very accommodating and helpful. Giving directions and suggestions for Christmas markets. Breakfast was delicious.

I paid for the room with city view which is on the exterior of the building but I was given one of the rooms on the inside with only a view of the courtyard. When I asked the staff, she said that the room facing the interior courtyard was better but that’s not what I asked for. I wanted a room with city view.

Hotel Das Regensburg was GREAT. Super clean, the guy at the front desk was super helpful with restaurant and sight recommendations and great ideas for things to do and see. We were upgraded to a suite at check in and presented a bottle of Prosecco. The breakfast buffet was great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
